Fear the Walking Dead

There are only 3 interesting characters on the show, Nick, Strand, and Madison(the mom) and even some of them are questionable at times. Towards the end of last season Ophelia started getting interesting.

I do want to see what happens with Ophelia.
Madison is a very mediocre actress. Kinda sucks that she is a lead character.
I saw a trailer that had Strand in trouble for pretending to be a doctor...

I'd keep Alicia around for scenery.

It's the only reason she's still alive.

Didn't see that coming.
Bye Travis

I literally felt nothing when he died.
EDIT: It was explained on The Talking Dead that the stomach injury was where the bullet entered and it came out his neck.

Any takers on the group hunting the army jerks being lead by Daniel(Ruben Blades)?

UHHH....Season 3 premiere was pretty awesome.

Have they turned this series around folks? I'm stunned how good it was!

Ouch, the S3 premiere only did a 3.11 and the second episode did a 2.70.

That's down from the 6.76 the S2 premiere got.

Granted that's still better than the vast majority of cable shows, but the production costs for this show has grown as the ratings have dropped signicantly.

Where did you read production costs have gone up?

Summer shows are given more leeway on viewership which might be it's only saving grace.

Don't remember, but it was a while back, plus it's pretty typical a show like this has its costs go up as it goes on longer, unless it's obvious the budget was slashed i.e. Heroes Season 4. Even the main show has had budget issues (remember the deer).

Heroes was more of a victim of the writers strike if I remember correctly.

The deer, lol. I watched that episode but wasn't paying that close attention to the deer for it to bother me. The Rick fake out had me more appalled than the deer.

The writers strike definitely screwed Season 2. I actually really liked the show before that.

Really glad that Ruben Blades is back. Would trade his character for Travis every day of the week...

My patience (or stubbornness) in sticking with this show has been rewarded. Really intrigued. If they continue this, it's a way better product than it's parent show. Sometimes you have to kill off the right character.

It was pretty dumb; although I guess it possibly could have been Daniel imagining it or something like that.

Gettin all artistic? Thought crossed my mind. Great episode for Ruben Blades nevertheless.

Well it was going good until last night. Fear now has it's "flipping van" scene of stupidity.

I'm not going to lie that lightning bolt immediately made me think of Z Nation. Ruben Blades surviving being knocked unconscious by the same lightning bolt and getting washed down stream into a drainage pipe is equally as laughable. The episode was actually really good outside of that.

Yeah, it's head scratching why they put that in. The rest of the episode was good.

Over the last two nights I have been getting caught up from my DVR and I have really been enjoying this season.

To be honest I have been liking it better than last season of TWD.

Looks like a big fight is coming!:)

That was an interesting turn. Maddie has almost gone full Shane.

Was a really good mid-season finale. I'm glad Nick has finally started to become something other than a Johnny Depp cosplayer.

I don't know if any of you also watch Talking Dead but I'm glad Chris Hardwick brought up the sexual tension between Madison & Troy. I knew I wasn't the only one seeing it.

Speaking of Troy I knew I had seen the actor somewhere before but it took me just now looking up Wikipedia to realize that he was in the 2nd & 3rd season of Teen Wolf.

One question has it been said where the ranch is supposed to be? Arizona, Utah, West Texas?
