I dont see them having both at the same time, wouldnt really be possible.

I would imagine the camp will be after spring practice is over at this point. Would give them time to evaluate more kids and also evaluate needs first hand to give them a better idea of whats really needed.

I have no clue about the situation...but if the info voodoovol posted is accurate...what a complete fabrication from Volontheplains...

LWSVol posted a few days ago in a thread about Rubio that he is the guy he tells people to contact when they want to get a guy in front of the staff. Im sure he has his contact info.

I think our roster sets up better now to run a 3-4. Jacquez and Corey would be great at the OLB spots. Almost every other LB on our roster would probably fit better on the inside. We are solid at end. The only concern is DT. Montorio is the only guy we got now who could fill the nose tackle role. Marlon Walls is too small and would fit better in the DE rotation. Maybe if John Brown qualifies he could rotate at the postition with Hughes. Either way though, I think Wilcox will give us all he's got. We still have depth issues regardless of what package we base out of.

We have light speed rush ends, not what you want for a 3-4, and we are thin on the line and you want to move two guys to linebacker? They didn't even play linebacker in highschool. Nether Hughes or walls is well suited to play nt, so not only do we not have any depth, but we don't even have a suitable starter. Beside all that, our dc has always run a base 40 d, at least in his time at bsu. We have major personnel problems on d, but moving to a 3-4 is just about the only way to make it worse than it is currently.

Sorry I misunderstood the quote, I meant he is intrigued by Dooley because his dad was coached by Dooley's dad.

MacLain should be re-added. Hubbs said he expects MacLain to be here after the conversation he had last night with the coaches.

LV said this. Makes sense. Its way early in the game on these kids, some won't play football, some will lose 15 pounds, some will gain 15 pounds, you get the idea.

Yep, got the same answer regarding another kid. Doesn't mean he won't be invited to other camps/OW game. Srubio@utk.edu and or strongin@utk.edu is where to email your film. They'll respond if interested, may take a few weeks.

My son is now scheduled to go up on April 17th for Jr Day/O&W game! :dance2:

I'm anxious to see if they do actually have one on Feb 27though.

Thanks to all those who helped us out with info.

I believe they will have two like LV says, I thought I was on to something when I posted that it had been moved bc that's what we were told. However, I think its more of a "you can come april 17th, period." Thing. Great to hear your son will be there, see ya there.

add Antonio Richardson. corner36 is very close to the situation and he just said AR will be here for Junior Day.

I would also re-add MacLain. Hubbs hinted that he will be here and his dad talked like he would be coming in the GVX article.

a guy on VQ who is close to Artaves Gibson says he is trying to work out making it up for Junior Day.
