^^^^ This was from today, when it has been confirmed that the latest round of classified documents also included those classified as being "Top Secret." These documents had been included in a subpoena, which Trump had obviously failed to fully comply with.

Now, I ask you, ....

Why didn't Donald Trump simply comply with the subpoena from the DOJ and hand over these Top Secret documents when they were requested? It is absurd for you to argue that Trump didn't contribute to this situation!

If they don’t have something to rock him with and it’s just “classified documents “ it was a stupid move on their part , and will reenergize the voting base for the Rs at mid term . I never said Trump didn’t contribute to this , as a matter of fact I’ve said the opposite and I’ve answer what I thought was the reason because it’s all guessing . You must not have read my replies .

I don't think he was referring to Trumps money (Life style) I believe he is saying that having a ton of money would allow you to mount a better defense.

It is not a stupid move for the DOJ to do what they had to do in order to recover Top Secret documents, which a former President would have no business keeping in his own personal residence! They tried subpoenaing Trump for the documents, but he had refused to comply with that subpoena. What other choice did the DOJ have, other than to send in the FBI to collect the those Top Secret documents, which should not have ever been there in the first place?

Wouldn't that have been the most prudent course of action for him to take at that point?

What other choice did the DOJ have ? That’s what you are asking about between finding a work around or setting a precedent that’s never been done before in the history of our country? Yeah I don’t see how this could possibly go sideways , the DOJ lose all credibility, squeeze out the toothpaste from the big NO GO tube knowing it can’t ever be put back in again and still not being able to get Trump on anything in the end . My mistake , of course you’re right . Smh

He wouldn't. If Trump was in possession of such documentation, he wouldn't sit on it for over a year. Such documents would have made their way to the internet a long time ago. Everybody knows that. That is one conspiracy theory that wasn't very well thought out at all.

Just for arguments sake, couldn’t the photo books be pictures of classified material? I can’t imagine that would change the issue at hand, and might explain why the DoJ thought they had everything and the “mole” told them he had pictures.

They could be anything at this point, since he didn't elaborate on what the photo books contained.
