So this basically sets out DOJ’s summation of what has happened.
2021: NARA negotiates with FPOTUS for return of the documents.
1/22: 15 boxes returned.
2/22: NARA concludes its inventory of the boxes and refers several issues to DOJ.
2/22-5/22: FBI follows procedures in Presidential Records Act to obtain access to the boxes, Trump team keeps asking for extensions and delays their access.
5/22: FBI reviews boxes. FBI gets info that there are additional records at Mar-A-Lago.
5/22-7/22: FBI follows less invasive procedures to obtain remaining records without success, culminating in certification by Trump’s attorneys that there are no more records.
7/22: search warrant is issued by a detached magistrate, search is conducted, search turns up evidence.

If all of this is true, it seems like it’s back to the drawing board for most of the excuses that have been thrown out by the Trumpkins, thus far. In particular, the “why did they wait so long” and “omg unprecedented to carry out a search warrant on a former president” really take a beating under this version of the facts.

Agreed.. DeSantis is fiscally Conservative, taxes etc and Conservative as a whole.. but I follow him on FB and he really has a softer side too which may appeal to your moderates/reasonable Dems.. he does a lot with Special Olympics, Cancer research (his wife has had cancer).. he actually seems like a nice, genuine guy to me (although I really don’t feel like that is a primary qualifier to be President lol.). it might be a more appealing option to those who are influenced like that

So, just to make sure I understand…the same Democratic Party that can’t walk and chew gum at the same time according to some of you is the same one that has set up a vast conspiracy campaign to manipulate the future political aspirations of DeSantis, run and control “the deep state,” and mastermind the set up of a “new world order??”

With good reason lol.. I think DeSantis would be a very strong candidate and get us a lot more of the Moderates, Middle, whom everyone has forgotten and abandoned lol.. you would think political strategists would be all up on these people lol

What vast conspiracy theory ? Seriously even blind monkeys can see you liberals would have a better shot at keeping Trump relevant and splitting the party , instead of united party with a DeSantis / Trump support . If you can’t see that then you are back to your normal we will just run Hillary and she will win by default theory and you haven’t learned a damn thing since then . It’s not that I think you are dumb , I just think you are arrogant and can’t be bothered with anything that doesn’t fit your perceived reality .

Like I said just selective leaking by the DOJ to paint a narrative in the court of public opinion. If they wanted to be transparent they would support an independent master to review the documents.
