Here’s some excerpts:
“The government also developed evidence that government records were likely concealed and removed from the Storage Room and that efforts were likely taken to obstruct the government’s investigation."
...appointment of a special master would impede the government’s ongoing criminal investigation and... would impede the Intelligence Community from conducting its ongoing review of the national security risk" from "improper storage of these highly sensitive" docs
Not only does Plaintiff lack standing to raise these claims at this juncture, but even if his claims were properly raised, Plaintiff would not be entitled to the relief he seeks.
the former President lacks standing to seek judicial relief or oversight as to Presidential records because those records do not belong to him.
The former President asserts (D.E. 1 at 14-16) that review by a special master is necessary because the records at issue are presumptively subject to executive privilege. But even if the former President had actually asserted executive privilege with regard to any of the seized documents (which he has not), and even if he had statutory authority to do so (which is not established), such an assertion would fail here because this case involves the recovery and review of executive records by executive officials performing core executive functions.
Agreed.. DeSantis is fiscally Conservative, taxes etc and Conservative as a whole.. but I follow him on FB and he really has a softer side too which may appeal to your moderates/reasonable Dems.. he does a lot with Special Olympics, Cancer research (his wife has had cancer).. he actually seems like a nice, genuine guy to me (although I really don’t feel like that is a primary qualifier to be President lol.). it might be a more appealing option to those who are influenced like thatI still think the smartest thing they could do would be have DeSantis run and Trump tell his supporters to back him . I don’t believe Democrats could counter that in any way .
Haha.That’s very plausible.
With good reason lol.. I think DeSantis would be a very strong candidate and get us a lot more of the Moderates, Middle, whom everyone has forgotten and abandoned lol.. you would think political strategists would be all up on these people lolI heard a theory that a big part of this is to make it more difficult for DeSantis to run because it will keep Trump in the news cycle and mess with the republican primaries. That basically the Dems are actually more fearful of Desantis.
Haha.
So, just to make sure I understand…the same Democratic Party that can’t walk and chew gum at the same time according to some of you is the same one that has set up a vast conspiracy campaign to manipulate the future political aspirations of DeSantis, run and control “the deep state,” and mastermind the set up of a “new world order??”
Q much??
