I'm not the one who has jumped to conclusions. You seem to equate accusations to guilt pretty quick and that just doesn't jive with how I would like to think a lawyers mind works.

I have said that I don't think they should be able to take anything with them and if they would like something they can summit it to the current administration.

I personal am real interested in what documents, why Trump took them, and what his intent was with them. If he had any at all

I am pissed at Trump because he has no idea he just needs to keep his mouth Shut. He talks too much.

Just 5 days ago Donald Trump praised Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping. He called both leaders "fierce," adding that Xi is "smart" to rule China with an "iron fist."
His continuous love envy affair with these two men makes me wonder what they have on him.
Continue to support Trump but above is all I need to know about the man. The above just validates why Trump needs a gag order imposed on him and should never ever serve in any office again.

To add the Democrats and others are going to get Trump on something and will not stop until they do. It is just a matter of time. See post above for reference.

That was not praise, as it was a reference to Hollywood casting villains. He does need to shut up, but he speaks sarcastically all the time.

Those leaders are. They're smart, they're ruthless. I'd say that Xi and putin would love to have some of our fed beaurocrats work with them. Especially in the "doj" and many DA offices

Last I recall Trump placed tariffs on Xi and has expressed his concerns what they were doing to our nation.

This wasn't one or two pages of a report that got swept up into his briefcase by accident. This was hundreds of pages of documents, in numerous files, placed into boxes for the move; and then he wouldn't give them back when repeatedly asked.

Efforts to paint this as simply a disagreement over some finer point of the documents themselves or as in any way inadvertent or unimportant, simply makes no sense under these circumstances.

I repeat my questions from the getgo: Why did he take these documents to begin with; why wouldn't he give then back?

The criminality is going to be not just in the fact of his having taken them, it will also be in the why. And you will notice we have yet to hear a single word from Trump or his team as to WHY.

I am not defending Biden at all.
I found it strange that the DOJ & NA were going after a former President and the Current President was not briefed on the situation. BS. Reasonable logic would tell you hog wash. He had to know and had to have been briefed. Denial is a lie. Just another * on our government. Both parties and the politics tell you that both parties and govt lie and will continue to do so.
It's not even a matter of who is telling the bigger fib. They both outperform each other in this area.
Just assume that if either party is making a statement they are lying?
Maybe the truth will come out. As I have stated this is 2nd grade BS. Some day we may see adults in the room running this country and hopefully it will be from both sides of the aisle.
I have stood on the edge of Freedom and defended Democracy for years. When dealing with foreign leaders you don't compliment them or insult them. You just figure out the best methods to Screw them silently. If you don't, they will screw you.

If people were smarter then more of these clowns would hit the bricks after their first term was over. The citizens of this country aren't that bright or they love corruption as long as they get a piece of the pie.

Obstruction has been point one since the warrant was originally served. It had to be because Trump kept refusing to return the documents and concerns were growing about shenanigans.

We are having to do training on the job about government corruption and bribery. Ironically it describes the Biden Administration to the TEE!

Anti-bribery laws aim to prevent the corruption and subsequent misuse and misallocation of public resources (i.e. tax dollars).

Admittedly, I’m jumping in to a mostly unread conversation, but I don’t really buy that assuming guilt is “jumping to conclusions” or “equating accusations to guilt,” at this point. Enough proof to establish the elements of a few of these statutes has been filed openly or unsealed and Trump or his team has pretty explicitly corroborated most of it, like his off-brand twitter response to the photos of classified documents taken in his office.

Seems like we’re at the point of debating whether there is a public interest in giving him special treatment and if it outweighs adherence to the rule of law and the provability and severity of the crime. Basically where we were with Trump after the Mueller Report, Hillary, Flynn, etc. etc.

This judge apparently felt there was cause to give special treatment and took some protective steps that wouldn’t be afforded to a normal individual or institutional defendant. I didn’t read the full order, but from the bits and pieces I’ve seen, it seems like a reasonable decision that could potentially undercut or prove a lot of Trump’s claims about it being a witch hunt.

I think reasonable minds can differ about whether treating him differently is the right call, though.
