Federal Indictment of Donald Trump

If Trump supporters were smart -- and they're clearly not -- they'd support a republican in the primaries that actually has a chance in the general because if the Republicans win the White House, Trump gets an immediate pardon. If Trump runs against Biden, you'll see an unheard of turnout to defeat Trump. Then Biden wins again and no pardon.
If Biden or Trump get reelected, this country is full of stupid people on both sides. Incumbent or not, it's stupid of the left if they run an elderly man with dementia for reelection. It's stupid of the right if they run an elderly egomaniac that causes such division for reelection.

If Democrats were smart, and clearly, they are not, they would find a way to force Biden to withdraw from the election.

BREAKING …. 🚨🚨🚨🚨

Pro-Trump Judge Aileen Cannon has been assigned the arraignment and she is overseen by the 11th Circuit which is overseen by Justice Clarence Thomas.

=====================

This is a self-defeating post.

Think about it: If you really thought it was “banana republic stuff,” you wouldn’t be crying for the exact same thing to happen when the tables are turned. Or you really do think it’s banana republic stuff and want it done to your benefit anyways, which I guess could be morally worse, but equally self-defeating.

Even if this is law enforcement being weaponized, none of you thinks it’s criminal. None of you even thinks it’s impeachable conduct. We know this because you were perfectly fine with Trump trying to do to Biden what you now claim Biden is doing to Trump and you’re literally calling for a future president to do it again.

There is no moral high ground here. It’s just a bunch of sports fans crying about the refs and demanding that their team pay them off next time.

I'd rather neither side do this because it's dangerous for democracy and none of us are safe if we simply let it go if there is a new administration. These bureaucrats could simply get fired and draw their hefty pensions like nothing ever really happened. Again none of us are safe if this is allowed to happen.

You can use whatever analogy you want to use if it makes you feel better. Now that government has been weapons for every action there is a reaction. The reaction needs to be getting to the bottom of how deep the weaponization goes. I guess you didn't think the DOJ was being weaponized against parents at school board meetings until the memo was uncovered. Do you still look for a reasonable explanation?

I don't feel Biden has been any better. In fact, I personally feel he's been worse. All either party is giving us is shitshows. So for those who are allegiant to one or the other, where is the outrage that neither side is giving us better choices? Why is the outrage only ever directed at "the other side"? Republicans and Democrats should really be angry at their own parties for not giving them better choices.

Making some really good points today Weezy!

Have you been hacked? :D

Two posts ago, you were saying it would be appropriate to use law enforcement against criminal politicians who bend the law. This is law enforcement going after a politician who allegedly broke the law.

There’s no appropriate justification for retaliating over this. Either you’re actually fine with what you claim to think is wrong or you don’t actually think it’s wrong. Your high horse is a three legged mule with scabies.

I think he is speaking more about equal application of the laws...if your position is that we need to start somewhere with these people breaking laws then great. Just apply it equally l across all side of the aisle....

I’m in favor of the similar treatment/outcome for the same conduct.

Trump’s conduct was unquestionably different than that of Pence or Biden. If those differences offer more evidence of criminal intent or cross the line into different criminal conduct, then I’m in favor of different treatment for him. If they don’t, then they should be treated the same.

What I suggest is not retaliation. That is your false premise. I'm speaking investigating the corruption of these bureaucracies. It's a legal position not a political position. We cannot allow our agencies to get this corrupted and then not be held accountable when they do. Congress should look into this with hopefully new policing leadership for what is going on here. This is attempted political persecution and most people will see it for what it is. Unless of course you are a partisan leftist. It also coincides with new evidence about the Biden Family Crime Syndicate. If the next play is bringing weak charges against Hunter before true money laundering investigations get off the ground then we'll know this is a coordinated effort to distract the American people.

There wouldn't be a Biden White House today had the republicans nominated anyone other than Trump in '16. It's very likely some Republican would be in their second term right now. Hillary was a total loser.

I honestly would have taken 8 years of Romney over 4 years of Trump and 4 years of Biden. Trump was that bad for America.

Trump’s lawyers have made some accusations. I’m fine with those accusations being followed up on and consequences being dealt out if they turn out to be true.

The idea that it’s pure politics and he did nothing wrong doesn’t fit with the evidence available at this time, most of which has been corroborated by trump himself. Best of luck gaslighting anybody into believing that that’s pure partisanship as the guy whose head is firmly wedged between Tucker Carlson’s ass cheeks.

He’ll still have an opportunity to put on a defense, if he chooses to take it, and will have to be afforded all of the procedures and safeguards that are given to anybody else. He’ll actually fare better than most since he got a judge that is clearly skeptical of all of this. If they get to a conviction, any political animosity on the part of the prosecutors will have been no different than how gang members and confessed murderers are treated when they go through the process. They should be held accountable and if it can be shown to have enticed then to act in a way that improperly affected the outcome, that should be dealt with the same as it would for anybody else.

‘Even A Cat Doesn’t Have As Many Lives As Trump’: Stephen A. Smith Warns Indictment Will Backfire On Dems

ESPN personality Stephen A. Smith warned Democrats Thursday night of the “detrimental effect” former President Donald Trump’s indictment would have while speaking on NewsNation.

Smith said the indictment doesn’t matter for Trump supporters, arguing if anything the indictment was worse for Democrats.

“Just as a regular American citizen voting … at the end of the day, what we’re asking is ‘is he gonna end up in jail?’ ‘Are you gonna prevent him from running for the White House?’ And the answer to most people is ‘no.’ It’s going to be much ado about nothing. He’s gonna be accused again, you know, back in the day was impeached not once but twice, but yet again he still is here. You know, you’ve highlighted to your viewers and everybody who would listen: That man could be indicted, he can be thrown in jail and can still run for president. So at the end of the day, are you gonna beat him or not? You beat him once he wouldn’t admit it. He still won’t let it go. He still claims that the election was rigged and stuff like that, and he is still here. Even a cat doesn’t have as many lives as Donald Trump appears to have when it comes to being in a political stratosphere.” (RELATED: 2024 GOP Candidates React To Trump Indictment)

It's still highly questionable that there was any criminal conduct, SCOTUS has issued a few rulings on the matter. As for Biden, he was VP when he absconded with the classified material so that was clearly criminal conduct just like Pence.

Anyway the Supremes will be forced to decide, again.

None of the 2016 Rs candidates other than Trump were beating Hillary. None of them would have excited enough people to turnout and vote for them.
