Except, to this point, there has been no fire. Even now, this latest ridiculousness is a nothing burger. These aren't files related to 1/6. This is using the FBI to go after Milton for stealing the red stapler (Office Space reference for those too young).
You're right about your Netflix analogy. That's why I believe there is possibly (emphasis on possibly) more to it than just a few classified documents. I personally hope there is more to it. Not just because I dislike Trump but because I would really hate to see the DOJ go after a former president for something that seems so petty. But we don't really know for sure what this is all about yet.false argument - the objection is not to Trump being investigated; from what I've seen the objection is the extreme action taken by the DOJ/FBI.
using your friend's Netflix account is criming - if they bust down your door and take your TVs for it I think most people would question the investigative tactics.

Yes, he's a victim. Trump was just reading his bible the whole time.
It's like he is ignoring the majority of this thread.Good Lord you are clueless
At this point, he is a victim even though he is a very unlikeable victim in many American's opinion. This is banana republic type BS that should be denounced in unison by the American public. Beat the guy on the debate stage and in the court of public opinion and if you can't do that then live with the results, not try and plot some bassackwards way to contort law to try and keep him from running on a technicality.
All he had to do was give the stuff back, as requested. No?
He's no victim, he's dumb. He played chicken and lost.
I'm certain his sycophants' are far more concerned about it than him. Hell, he'll use what would be galactically embarrassing for rational people as a way to get you to send him ( a billionaire) campaign donations.
Shouldn’t judgement be reserved for facts before anyone should be “denounced in unison?” If indeed there were related criminal acts, shouldn’t Trump be denounced in unison instead? Or, are we simply not interested in that anymore? Knee-jerk reactions, assumptions, tribalism, and impatience wasn’t the driving force behind setting up our system of laws, I can assure you… and if you agree, then why do so many “patriots” subscribe to these doctrines now-a-days?At this point, he is a victim even though he is a very unlikeable victim in many American's opinion. You make my point. You don't believe in God, yet we are all created to worship something. Your god is the fed gov. That's why you believe you and your party can pee on the constitution and freedoms.
You believe your fed gov is the highest authority and there is nothing to it accountable. Stalin would have loved you.

Exactly. Just like trump did when he lost the 2020 election...wait...nm.At this point, he is a victim even though he is a very unlikeable victim in many American's opinion. Technically he was elected by the electoral college. The American people elected Clinton. What we already know from the last 6 years, we should denounce the lengths our Government and the UniParty who controls it, have gone in essentially fighting back against this man that was elected by the American people. You've made him a martyr, congrats.
What we sort of know about this current raid, these document in question aren't related to 1/6. I've read some who say they are related to SpyGate, but that seems to be rumor at the moment. I would agree we need to know more but if recent history is any indicator this is another overreach by the UniParty.
Have to count on level headed people with the big picture in mind to make these decisions. Garland is such a person. Trump, however, appoints unqualified hacks. So any by his administration would be highly suspect.
