I disagree that Trump created the division on both sides. IMO, Obama started it and Trump made it worse. Obama and Trump are the most divisive POTUS' in my lifetime. They're both trash imo. And now Biden says, "hold my beer".

I don't know how it gets any better. Conservatism in itself is static and progressives are ever moving to the left and have become this creature that hates the USC, unless it fits their purpose (ie living document). They have serious membership that advocates socialism even to communistic economic policies, so the room for compromise is gone.

Look no further than the authoritarianism during COVID. The differences statewide were astounding.

You may have missed it if you blinked. Not surprisingly, the corporate media have mostly buried this one.

Nauta’s lawyer, Stanley Woodward, alleged in a court filing that during a meeting with prosecutors about his client’s case, the head of the Counterintelligence Section of DOJ’s National Security Division Jay Bratt “suggested Woodward’s judicial application [for a DC Superior Court judgeship] might be considered more favorably if he and his client cooperated against Trump.”

I've been thinking they nabbed Nauta for leverage - same thing they've done all along to nail people like Trump. Squeeze the little guy with the fewest resources and make deals. Seems like the DOJ's motto should be "Lets Make a Deal". Funny how lawyers think shared information is only privileged only when one of the participants is a paid lawyer or a priest - like lawyers should be eligible for sainthood.

I don't have a problem with Tim Scott being the nominee at all. The marks against him are Graham and Haley. Sounds weird but it is like guilt by state association.

It's funny that anybody thinks that the DOJ/Democrats/Some Republicans are going to just STOP with this first set of indictments in Florida.

If they don't win they will move on to the next set in a different Venue. If it stalls out in Florida, it will be batter up in the next Venue.

At some point, GA will get into the mix as well.

There is a group of people that will go after Trump to ensure he is Politically Dead and his voice is no longer heard. Maybe they will succeed, maybe they will not but this is not good for America. It is going to happen and the media coverage sucks with all the armchair QBs voicing their opinions.

A lot of false hope for both sides. Xanax is recommended for anybody that follows this too closely.
Yet people, send more money so that Trump will not have to liquidate a single asset in his Defense.

The fact that Trump is telling Presidential Candidates they "must/will" vow to pardon him, if they should win, says enough. IOW, I guess he knows he cannot beat all 6 potential indictments. He knows his goose is cooked. In addition, why would someone pardon him to live in the Trump shadow while serving their term as President.

Trump will voice his opinion and 2nd Guess or questioned every Presidential Decision made if he loses the election. It will not matter if it is a Democrat or Republican. Prison is the best place to keep Trump's mouth shut.

I don't think he needs money as much as he is going to need good lawyers willing to work Pro Bono because he probably will not pay them a dime unless it the lawyer gets an upfront fee with an Exit Clause.

Get Trump over so that the Country can move forward and on to Biden along with the other misfits in Congress and the Supreme Courts if need be.

Fake charges or not, it does not matter if they stick. Fake election, Fake Media, Fake Victim, everything is Fake when it comes to Trump.

Biden will get his turn, but the entire Republican Party is going to have to be on board to do so and they don't have the votes to do it. At the moment, they are more split than some thought.

I would not Pardon Trump even if I was the Republican President Elect because the only way to silence Trump is to lock him up and take away his phone.... If Pardoned, Trump will undercut a Republican nominee and winner through the airwaves and Social Media, daily. He will state whatever stirs the pot and keeps the masses going. As the President (Rep) do you want to continue this saga for another 4 years?

All I am saying is that something has got to give because the Democrats are not going to give up and neither is Trump. Trump will just as much damage to the Republican Party if he does not win. To pardon him gives him a free pass. I would at least let him serve 3.5 years of the sentence.

I agree Trump is guilty. But Clinton was also guilty too, right? Biden is also guilty. The trump team decided not to charge Clinton, even though she committed a crime. That’s in the best interest of our country.

I think Haley is positioning herself to be the VP on the ticket...her answer regarding The Trump pardon switch stance in less than 12 hours which tells me she is positioning herself for VP...Graham is just wash rinse and repeat and he can not give his own response just the Republican standard which means Trump must have something on him...He does a great job avoiding a providing a straight answer which leaves himself wiggle room. Typical Politican. At this point it is to really pick a candidate, If you do not Desire Trump as the nominee...More nuts to cut.
