Ferguson's arm strength

:good!::good!:I thought Ferguson's film looked good. He could scramble just like Dobbs and seems to have more strength. Being honest, half the fan base wants Dobbs because he's black, so they automatically think he's better. If you're an honest person, you'd agree that is most people's thinking. I give Dobbs the edge just because he's been here longer and knows the play book more. Give Ferguson a chance, though

I heard Ferguson could throw a ball right after John Elway and split his football and give the receiver an "Elway Cross" on both sides of his chest....from 97 yards out mind you! While scrambling backwards, texting and chewing Red Man.

I know that's not true.

African Americans are far too smart for smokeless tobacco.

Well, I'm an honest person, and while I'll be happy with whichever guy can get the job done, my preference at this point is Dobbs because of his intelligence and demeanor. (Whether that translates to on-field intelligence remains to be seen.) I've said before that we tried the dumb, immature guy with immense talent; and, while I liked him better than most folks on this board did, I'm ready to try a smart guy who seems to have a good deal of maturity even if he can't throw it 60 yards.

I'll go for the best performer. While Dobbs is chalked up to be the "more intelligent" QB, he may be like me and be smart but not fast smart.

The cream will rise to the top this fall. Also, I hope that the 2 and 3 QB's get some action in the games...especially as mop up duties but also to run a dozen or so special plays that they spend lots of time perfecting.

Every thing I've heard or read is that the job is Worleys to lose and the one who has a chance to over take him is Ferguson not Dobbs.

I have always been a bigger fan of Ferg's game. Nothing against Dobbs I just love Ferguson's ability and the way he plays the position. He always seems to make the right read and find the open man. He's more mobile than people realize (or at least than he's given credit for). Not that he's a Johnny Football type but he can extend plays with his legs and pick up the occasion first down when needed. He's got a good not great arm (like Bray) but he's got better touch IMO. I also love his competitiveness and grit. He's going to be a good one for us IMO.

I can't tell if we were stupid to recruit these guys or if they are the 2nd coming of Peyton??? Come the fall it will become clearer when action takes over from hype
