Fickell to Wisconsin

Great hire by Wisconsin. I honestly think Fickell played it smart, because I'm almost positive he was approached by one of the many schools that had the job openings last year, but every single one of them have irrational fan bases where success must be delivered near-instantly with no room for steady improvement during a rebuild. Wisconsin is a respected, traditional Big 10 program that allows for good exposure to the P5 without over-bearing expectations that a school like Florida or Oklahoma may have. Add the fact that the Big 10 West is essentially Group of 5 teams, anyways, he shouldn't have any trouble getting things going.
