The saving grace for UGA might be that Fromm is an Aaron Murray type - really good college QB that doesn't have eye popping measurable or arm strength. He might stick around for 4 years.
Fromm had the highest QBR the last 5 or 6 weeks in the nation and played great vs. Alabama. He is elite.I'd have to totally disagree with your comparison. He's seems a lot bigger ham Murray and he was a 5star/elite recruit (unlike Murray). He also took his team to within 1 play if winning the national championship as a true freshman. Again...Murray did no such thing. I think if Fromm has a good season next years he'd be projected to be top 10 draft pick.
But it wouldn’t be because he’d be backing up Haskins. And Day ran this offense the past two seasons...QB’s seem to thrive in it.With Day becoming head coach of OSU, it is just too much of an uncertain future for a player like Fields. Right now, Oklahoma is the place to go if you want to be an all star qb.
They're more similar than you think. Fromm is 6'2" 215-220 and was rated 6.1 and 5 star by Rivals. Murray was 6'1" 210 and was a 6.0 4 star.I'd have to totally disagree with your comparison.
