That run defense was so good they gave up 260 rushing yards to Mizzou, with Shrader getting 205 yards!

I know it’s Heupel’s offense, but we need a proven OC. I think keeping Banks will always cost us 1-2 games each year.

I remember when everyone used to laugh at Mike Bobo. He was Randy Sanders bad. Amazing what five stars at most positions and mediocre defensive coordinators can do to elevate your reputation.

Truth is that next year, how many linemen will be back? They are all seniors. Nico is just not going to step in and play substantially great. Another rebuilding coming next year. Going to be even tougher with Oklahoma and Texas in the draw. No east or west divisions. Will only take the two top teams of the SEC to play for the Sec championship. I just don't see the vols in the top two. The defense has to be discussed in the off season.

I would love to see Banks l, Martinez, and maybe even o line coach go. I can think of a new Defensive Coordinator he is about to be fired from Cal. Justin Wilcox

I’d be more interested in seeing Martinez and/or Jean Mary go. I think banks is stuck between a rock and a hard place with the lack of both talent and depth, plus the inability of the offense this year (essentially requiring the defense - which doesn’t have the talent or depth - to play a game and a half worths of time each week).

I am a bit concerned about halze as well. Joes talent is not translating to production. He’s made plenty of perfect passes that have been dropped. But he’s missed plenty of wide open passes. The two are related. Going back to fall practice, it seemed the qb and wrs were not “in sync”. Not sure why with the entire off season and through this season that we haven’t been able to fix that.
