OMG, please tell me this is a sarcastic thread!! If you honestly believe they should fire CW after one game your out your damn mind!! Sometimes I honestly believe we have the dumbest fan base in America!! "We lost fire the coach, I say that cuz I don't know **** about sports!" Jesus Christ gimme a break!!

I agree, no jumping, we need the fans. :)
Hopeful is good. Many are saying next years class overall is a weak one. We had great recruits over the past 4 years but got no results. So I'm keeping calm, taking it as it comes.
Holly was made head coach for sentimental reasons. If she was not picked, the fans would have rioted. Not sure firing Holly is the answer right now. There is no new Pat available anywhere out there and change for the sake of change isn't necessarily a good thing. Besides, I don't trust management to pick a competent replacement.

We may have to learn what it's like to be a mediocre program. It's not that hard to do. Hundreds do it every year. That would be a true test of fan loyalty. Filling the stands after 10 years of no NCAA Tournaments. Who's in?

Cuonzo also lost to M.T.S.U. & College or Charleston.

One season, in the first round of the NCAA, Pat coached us to a loss to Ball State. So, every program experiences
losses to supposedly inferior teams.

Saban's "O Bama" team lost to Louisana-Monroe his first season.

Fulmer's teams lost to Memphis, Vandy, Wyoming.

A #1 seeded Seattle Supersonics lost a 7 game series to the #8 seeded Denver Nuggets one season.

I think Holly got the job because she has been with the program for so long and it was Pat's suggestion. I personally want Nikki Caldwell or the coach of the Kentucky womens team..... Either one of them will do.

However; the team will fall real far under Holly's guidance and then no one will want the job, because it will be a major re building job...

Well, at least we have a good mens basketball coach and a good baseball coach....

I enjoy the lady vols more than most. Any final judgement is pre-mature. In spite of the recent commitment Warlick has proven absolutely nothing as a Head Coach. We could have literally had anyone but the a**hat from UConn. #nepotism.

I wasn't thrilled with Holly getting the job, but with this being a non-revenue sport, I think Pat earned the right to name her successor.

What a bunch of morons on here. Were you at the game and saw the coaching errors? No, I didn't think so. Our veteran players except for Simmons forgot to show up. UTC has a pretty good little ball team and it seemed like everything they threw up went in and I mean threw up. There were shots that I would have never thought would go in. The big girl #44 threw one from near half court with one hand that went in but came back out. Take a deep breath folks. Only a fool will call for a coaching change after one game but then, there are definitely a lot of fools on this board.

The point was they made some really wild shots and almost made a ridiculus shot in that one as the clock ran out. She threw it baseball style and even it almost went in. The defense was there a lot of times and they would throw up an off balance shot and it would fall. It was just one of those nights. UTC is a good team but they won't shoot like that on most nights. Congratulations to them though, they fought hard and won.

I'm not going to bash HW or call for her head after one game, that's pretty ridiculous. That being said, she was given the HC position because that's what Pat wanted and everyone knows that. I think DH should have went after Nikki Caldwell in my opinion, but instead he bowed to Pat. Time will tell if that was a wise decision.
