The thing that got me most upset was the Trip Thurman situation.

If rankings are so terrible then why are the teams winning the national titles (Texas 05, Florida 06, LSU 07, Florida 08, Alabama 09) always the ones bringing in the Top 5-10 classes consistently?

In the past 4 years, UT has brought in a #3 class, a #10 class, and a #9 class. We did have a terrible class in '08 but attrition from these highly ranked classes is killing us more than the talent of our recruits.

It still wasn't a good thing. I guarantee that if they could do it over again they would give Trip more attention.
