Another prospect that we feel like is trending to Tennessee is Cai Bates. The Vols seemed to have survived LSU swinging big last weekend on his official visit, but the Tigers are continuing to push here so Tennessee has to stay diligent as he works towards a decision.

No they are not….. they speak in code….. always have and always will….. this update means that Cai is a Vol but the video has not been shot yet….. you always have to worry about LSU when you are recruiting high level kids.

The Alabama version of the war room (which is the most Bama-homer thing ever written) has this to say about Cai Bates:

We've seen other corners visit this month including Ellis Robinson (IMG Academy), Cai Bates (Orlando-Edgewater), Demello Jones (Swainsboro, Ga.) and Charles Lester (Venice, Fla.). Alabama remains in heavy pursuit of Robinson, who had a great OV, and expected to return this fall. Still considered a tough flip.

Bates appears likely to choose between LSU and Tennessee, but know Alabama continues to have high interest. Demello Jones, another UGA commit, also took an official to Alabama earlier this month. Jones is considered a long-shot. Charles Lester, as we indicated after his official, is not receiving the five-star treatment from the staff. FSU or maybe Colorado?
