'19 FL DE Khris Bogle (UF signee)

So we were out of it for months, and then he just randomly decides to come on a under the radar visit and commit? That’s what you want me to believe? Really?
Im just going by what’s actually reported by paid reporters. VQ mods for awhile this fall kept saying UT was trailing Clemson and Michigan. Same was reported by Clemson and Michigan sites. Clemson Rivals mods are usually spot on with their reporting. Similar to Brent Hubbs. They believed, as did most sites, that Clemson led up until the secret visit. He then flipped to UT. That’s what was reported by all sites. Not sure why this is some conspiracy or spinning or whatever.

Yes. Richt was a backup QB to Jimmy Kelly at the U. Played with a good friend of mine Lorenzo "Smokey" Roan. They are all still tight to this day. Otis Anderson and some others all played together at the U back in the days.

Canes fans believe it or not can be demanding and Richt wasn't winning as much as Cane fans thought down here. Plus, their offense mainly because their QB play was horrendous this year. They got lots of talent but their QB's were terrible.

I don’t know that we were “out of it,” but Crouch’s quotes were pretty telling after his Clemson visit. It appeared that he did not care to play for a program that needed a turn around. Something changed.

I guess they forgot the Larry Coker and Al Golden eras.

coker...60-15....and a NC. yea....terrible yrs

Why did they fire him?

I admit that it’s not the best example, but he was playing with Davis’ players. It’s just ridiculous that people are disappointed in Richt after what the program has been through the last 12 years.

he only won 9,9 and 7 games his last 3 yrs. I get it, but saying that is as bad as it is now at the little u is not accurate.

Richt has won 9, 10, and 7 after a decade of mediocrity and won the division last year. Coker started the decline. I guess it had to go down, but he left it much worse. Richt left it better.

Miami is a unique place. It’s a private school with a stadium nowhere near its campus. If the team isn’t winning, they draw as well as Vandy. But the local talent is probably as good as any in the US. The right coach can make hay down there.

Franky, UT needs a strong Miami to keep players away from our rivals. I wonder if there is a former Miami player/assistant that can navigate the unique challenges.

Watch how often these recruiting sites "discover" these talents immediately following attention given by proven coaches. And I'm talking well before official offers.
.
Those are the true evaluaters of talent.
The sites follow the lead of the greats (and mix in the pay for camp, kids with a little bump.)
Not much more to it and don't blame 'em either. Surest way to look good at their jobs.

Saban isn't getting all the 4/5 star players he wants. He turning all the players he wants into 4/5 stars.
The stars are an indication of what they are in high school not in college. If he's Moonlighting and coaching them in high school he is putting in some serious overtime

Mario Cristobal but I doubt he can get out of his Oregon contract without a big buyout but Taggert did. Watch Kentucky Mark Stoops name to come up here too connected with Miami opening as he coached there before.

God I hope not. UK may be just crazy enough to hire Mike Leach and we all know what’ll happen then
