Actually quite the opposite imo. Harder to get on the field means hes not scared of competition. Steel sharpens steel.

I guess kids are fine with standing on the sidelines for a couple of years but these days you don't play just transfer

Bama will continue to dominate the world of college football until someone dethrones them. All these Florida kids going to Bama has to stop. When Florida starts getting their choice of top Florida kids, they will be the team to dethrone Bama. Florida isn’t like Georgia, who openly claim to want to be the “Bama of the East.” Florida isn’t trying to be the Bama of the East,” we’re trying to be the Florida Gators.

They don’t give a crap about playing time, otherwise they wouldn’t go there. They want to brag about being champions even though they never saw the field. Then when they finally do see the field they know they will look better cause they are surrounded by superior talent. Although I see the NFL catching on in the next couple years and start wanting to see what they can do on their own when they have to face equal or even better talent.

Here in lies the problem, these players continue to see Alabama dominate and send a lot of players to the NFL. The kid said he wants to compete with the best. Since Saban went to Alabama other top programs like Tennessee and Florida made multiple bad and unimpressive hires. I know Tennessee specifically tried to save in the pocket book on new hires, only to have to pay said bad hires once they were fired ala Sgt Carter Jones.

Which comes first the chicken or the egg? Do you start winning some of these battles first that will help compete with Alabama or do you start beating their azz from time to time with the good players you do get?

This national championship totally sucks like it has the last several years. Do you go with Alabama because they will always be Alabama and recruit well, or do you pull from Clemson who has gotten top players from this state and look like UT from 20 years ago.

Edit: We really need some pass rushers to go with the good interior line class we ha e coming in. In reality you don't need a class full of highly ranked guys, you hope to get that one difference maker, that disrupter, that thorn in the side. Sometimes they can be a low ranked guy that ends up being a surprise like Josh Allen at Kentucky or a Kahlil Mack that played at Buffalo.

I disagree. Why would a player pass on going to AL when they know they will be surrounded by great players and great coaches? They will have every opportunity to improve and move on to the next level. You also get better when you practice against better players everyday. You seriously believe these 4 and 5 star players "don't give a crap about playing time"?

It's my understanding you can only back count early enrollees if you had room the year before. How many did they sign last year and how many did they EE this year?
