Yeah Spyre is obviously not impressive in the CFB recruiting world. I mean they told us they’ve only got 600 members, SAD!

I get the feeling that UT/Spyre are being used right now to get bigger pay days.
The common theme in these recruitments is Tennessee. Then boom, some school comes out of nowhere to lead, then the kid drops hints that Tennessee leads and boom , again, out of nowhere school x blows in and seals the deal.
I’m just curious if Tate and this kid, ever had real interest in Tennessee?

I think a lot of this falls directly on our OL coach. He's just not recruiting at the level needed to win in this league.

Coaches have done the same. Gundy, Brian Kelly, Charles Strong etc..

All we can do is trust the coaches to develop the talent we get and hope that gives a a chance to win.

Sometimes you just lose. This is the first recruit in a while, that I feel bummed about.

Very good prospect. I think he chose wrong, but time will tell.

Seems like a lot of hand wringing over a guard, the team and class will be just fine. Don’t get me wrong, would have been a great addition, but we’re not talking a critical position here.

This is why we shouldn’t panic as of yet. If we overachieve this year, that’ll help in landing elite talent in the portal to make up for losses in recruiting

What is a critical position? Since keeping QB upright isn't critical...

The people like us that donate help with the small stuff. Not players like FM. That comes from the big boys which none of them are on a monthly pay plan to Spyre.
