'19 FL QB Brian Maurer (Tennessee signee)

While I want to hate on CUM for that article, honestly it's probably something that happens all the time. And if we had room for only one QB this year and the situation was the same but with Taulia, then I'm not for certain it wouldn't have played out very similarly.

I understand what you are saying but most recruits are saying CJP is very upfront and transparent. I don’t see him doing this from what we’ve been told.

just watching from the little amount of footage in the video, he looks like an extremely balanced quarterback. If he gets a tighter spiral on his throw, he'll be a force to be reckoned with.

Peyton Manning is on line 2....

Elite 11 Quarterbacks: 2018 arms to know at The Opening Finals

TENNESSEE COMMIT BRIAN MAURER

It’s time to play big-boy ball. Maurer has been the underdog through much of the Elite 11 process. He didn’t have the big offers early like the others on this list. His junior year production isn’t eye-popping. He exceeded expectations at the Elite 11 regional and Elite 11 Finals event. Now he’s an SEC commit fresh off a pledge to Tennessee and he’s got the same expectations as everyone else. Will he rise to those expectations?

247Sports Composite Pro-Style Ranking: 18.

Hopefully he will rise.

24/7 ranked Maurer 5th out of 12 for Sunday’s performance at the Opening Finals.

Yup.

No quarterback saw his performance improve from start to finish more than Maurer, a Tennessee pledge. The Ocala (Fla.) West Port signal-caller really started warming up at the end of the camp hitting multiple throws down the field. The 6-foot-3, 180-pound Maurer just needs to work on his overall consistency, and unleash those ‘wow’ throws more frequently.
