'19 FL QB Brian Maurer (Tennessee signee)

Weird. Our resident QB evaluators said he has a slow release and a noodle arm. But these elite 11 evaluators seem to have the opposite evaluation based on actual data. Who should we believe?

I honestly think we got lucky and caught this kid as he was blowing up in all the camps . He could turn out to be one of our best gets in this class . The WRs we are in on with their size and skill sets can also make a QB look really good , I’m excited to see how this class turns out .

Throwing with pads on is different than throwing in shorts and T-shirts in 7-v-7. There are plenty of examples of kids that go to the elite 11 and do nothing in college.

That said, I’m excited to see if he comes out and has a great senior year. Maybe everything is coming together for him. I certainly hope so since he’s a vol.

This kids film looks solid...i think he has strong arm maybe borderline very strong. he's slinging it 40 plus yards on the run...has little baker Mayfield in him....i like this kids film....hes a playmaker kind of like Dobbs....in that sense just makes plays

Always go with the guy that sits in the dark until his mom comes home from work to cook dinner. :cool2:

When did you start that and how did you learn?:)

It’s a process. My mom did pass away in 2006. Yo momma jokes have been around forever. I don’t know Chief’s situation...so I allude. :good!:

I was heavily involved in the mid 70s. I must be reverting approaching 60. I just hope I can control it and nothing else comes up without my approval.

Everyone at Elite 11 can spin it... Reports on this kid is that he has the “IT” factor. Toughness, moxie and leadership to just win in the mold of a Fromm or a Mayfield.

Ok. Let's keep imagining this guy is a Darnold, Dobbs, Fromm or Mayfield because someone said he has the "it" factor. I sincerely hope that he will be, but let's actually let the guy take a snap for Tennessee before we start with these ridiculous comparisons.

We share what has been said by evaluators at camps and we have fun prognosticating. Chillllll....
