I think he will. He's as close as you can be to one on Rivals and is already one on ESPN. Any QB who is in the Elite 11 is a great QB Pick up and was said to be one of the best 4 or 5 towards the end of it.

Sometime between his morning arrival at Ohio State last Friday, his full day spent with Urban Meyer and Ryan Day, the good vibes of being in the Woody Hayes Athletic Center and a solid workout during Friday Night Lights, Brian Maurer started to feel like Columbus was the place for him.

Ohio State was on the verge of finally getting a quarterback in the 2019 recruiting class, and ultimately got its guy last weekend. It just wasn't Maurer.

Unbeknownst to him, Dwan Mathis -- another quarterback in the Class of 2019 and at that point a Michigan State commit -- was on Ohio State's campus for a surprise official visit. Their paths finally crossed last Friday night at the camp, when things really got confusing for Maurer as he realized maybe the OSU coaches weren't as all-in on him as they said they were.

just watching from the little amount of footage in the video, he looks like an extremely balanced quarterback. If he gets a tighter spiral on his throw, he'll be a force to be reckoned with.

While I want to hate on CUM for that article, honestly it's probably something that happens all the time. And if we had room for only one QB this year and the situation was the same but with Taulia, then I'm not for certain it wouldn't have played out very similarly.
