Yeah i could see him talking the starting job next year with his mobility but would also be interesting to see shrout in the fold. He might take the starting job next year. Just dont know if i see JG being the guy at this point. He has one good game under his belt but that wont help him if he cant learn to move in the pocket and step up and run when he has the open lane. I really do hope it will click for JG but if he isnt getting it done then its next man up.

It could help if we didn't make our playcalling so predictable and we had a better line. Plus if your judging off last week. Well that's crazy

Why does it matter where he’s at on a list that proves to be wrong on players more than it’s right. People’s infatuation with recruiting rankings is absurd. CJP thinks the kid is legit so that’s all we should care about!

It is a little concerning. I guess he plays on a bad team and maybe that has some thing to do with it, but its still enough reason to worry. We desperately need to improve our QB play

That’s outside the point. The guy I responded too just wants maurers rating to go up so our team rating will go up recruiting wise. Of course bama is on top, the only take 4 and 5 stars basically and they have the best 12 month program in the nation hands down.

The number of Ints is a bit misleading. If you look at the nbr of attempts, that comes down to an INT every 29.2 passes which is good.

More concerned about the pass completion percentage. 60 percent is lower than what I would like but you would have to look at the average yards per pass attempt.

Bad team? Level of competition? Quality of his OL/WRs? A lot of factors involved, not just the stats.

Just watch the film and trust the staff.

Hell, at this point I'll take a QB with great pocket presents, able to read coverages, audible and change the play at LOS, and go to their 2nd/3rd option.

He will be our next qb. JG is unquestionably the starter until he leaves. Shrout won't see the field much imo. He is miles behind JG now and I think Maurer will pass him up when he arrives.
