Are we sure about that? We did not hold off the kid from Louisiana to wait for him. Not sure Florida was that enamored with him either.

But I will say he had his chance to play in the SEC and missed it.

I'm not implying it has anything to do with us. Just drawing a parallel to another underrated FL running back that went to Utah and did big things. We just happened to have recruited both guys to some degree.

Moss was UT’s to lose in the 2016 class. Instead the staff signed Carlin Fils-Aime and Jeremy Lewis as the RBs in that class.

He's the recruit I want the most. Highly rated, plays defense, lives in Knoxville now.

Not to mention the back from Texas who tore it up as a true frosh last year at Utah. He died from a car wreck this offseason. Forget his name.

Which I’ve said for a while now, but still….this guy?

I’d rather just roll with Bishop, Lewis, Baker, and Morris.

Never had to use more than 4 backs in a season….unless I’m forgetting a season. Why hold up a scholarship? (Legit asking)

Two years of eligibility, 4.3 ypc for his career, nearly 1000 yds as a backup across two seasons.

We could do worse, I guess. He doesn't have the look of a difference maker, but maybe we are looking for depth because of Bishop and Lewis (and perhaps Seldon). Doubt we count heavily on either freshman back.

Hell, I’d go after this kid then. I love the smaller school players that we have hit on.

I’d be willing to bet he enters the portal.

But to your point, that’s fair. We could do worse and he isn’t as terrible as I’m making him out to be.

I say punch the tires, we only have 1 rb committed atp, with Sampson for sure being gone and I could see a couple of rbs on our team hitting the portal as well
