From Mississippi. Ole Miss loses literally their entire team. So uh 2+2 together. Recruiting class for them is solid and I love Shekai but a RB is their top commit so not exactly most sexy for a instant reload

you don't build depth with 3 solid players by only keeping 3 solid players on the roster. you need a spot or two to sit and develop for a while. look at Bishop this year. he would have been at least #4 last year; sat, developed, got healthy, and now was our clear number 2. that doesn't happen without him being in the system.

guys from the portal with only a year or two left, you aren't going to sit on the bench.

He may not have protections down. You can't be out there if they don't trust you to block for the QB. He has to recognize blitzes as well as blocking assignments. Do you remember when we played at LSU a couple of years ago and DSamp missed a blitz pickup and got HH killed. Yeah, he didn't play another down in that game, although he was the more dynamic back between JS and JW.

Not to be argumentative, but how has he looked impressive? He doesn’t seem to get started very quickly and has little lateral movement.

Caleb Cunningham is their top commit. But barring a major portal haul (which I wouldn't totally dismiss) Ole Miss is certainly at risk of taking a step back.

I’m leaning towards Cam leaving for one reason. His uncle Plove is on this site and has undoubtedly heard us musing about Cam leaving and he hasn’t nipped in the bud yet.

I really think this is overplayed. If he was planning to leave why burn a year of eligibility in that Miss St game? I think it’s possible that he’s just now healthy enough to play at this level and they’re trying to ease him back in.
