Has to be the 1st real opponent UF will play prior to our game since spurrier got there.

Will the gators have to open up the playbook at college station?

Good question. I definitely think that not having any tape to prepare with last year really made it difficult to scheme. It has probably been a factor in years past as well.

The fact that they are installing another offense this year means that them having to open things up prior to us should help.

On the flip side, hopefully we won't have to pull everything out against NC State.

I don't think they'll open the playbook, but I do think we'll see a LOT more than we're accustomed to seeing before we usually play them, which will definitely be in our favor.

Aggies 27
gators 3

That would be fantastic!
I think that muschamp's last game as a cow was a loss to the Aggies too.
I would like a camera on the gator players when the Aggies start one of there chants at Kyle field. It is pretty impressive.

Gig 'em Aggies!

Yes, that is going to be an electric atmosphere in College Station that day. Florida is already very weak on offense. That crowd will take them right out of the game. I foresee an easy victory for the Aggies. Florida’s defense will keep them in it for awhile. But after they see that their offense has no punch, they will fold up like a cheap chair.

We last played Miami in 2008 at The Swamp.

We play them again in Miami in 2013.

OK that's one opponent (about 4 times) in 20 years.

Florida never plays the likes of SCal, Oklahoma, Texas, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Penn State, Nebraska, etc.

Well, not actually, the SEC's never really wanted FSU.

Florida state spent a period of about 10-20 years or so trying to join the conference, and each time the conference didn't want them/ turned them down.

(no clue on if anything was ever shot towards Miami though)

Alabama | MrSEC

* While some say SEC representatives haven’t forgotten that FSU spurned the league in the early 1990s, we point out that FSU spurned the league in the early 1990s. Meaning the school had an invite to turn down in the first place. If Florida didn’t jump in the way 20 years ago, would Florida — and others jump in the way now? *
This is what most people remember.
