16-4? Tebow spoiled us. Lmao

All the articles have viewed had his starting record at 12-3 before this season.

"Now he would be For all his faults, Jeff Driskel has been a pretty good quarterback during his time here at the University of Florida.

For one, he's got a 12-3 record as a starter and last time I checked that's a pretty good record. I'll also be the first to admit that his career statistics aren't the greatest, as he's thrown for around 2,500 yards and just 15 touchdowns against 10 interceptions."

I think the score will be closer than people think.

However, never at any point in time will Alabama not be in complete control of the game or will you think that Florida actually has a chance to win.

If that makes any sense.

It makes perfect sense.

Driskel's criticism comes from his recruiting hype and lack of development after 4 yrs.

One would think after John Brantley III that UF fans would be more supportive with his win %.

That's great until you break down the difference between...."because of" and "in spite of"

From everything I can gather, he's a good kid who does the best he can, but his record is due solely to the fact that he may have quarterbacked a team with the nastiest defense Florida has ever had. While that can't be proven, the 2012 Gator defense is certainly in the conversation for the school's best ever.

Had he been healthy for the 2013 season, his record would be a tad different.

Reading the predictions from all the Gator fans on here, even if Bama wins, it won't be fun to smack talk at all.

Made a comment on a Gator board that we all chalked up 3-0 (of course Idaho was cancelled) at the start of the season before playing Alabama without thinking twice about it.

I made the joke that we couldn't even get through that portion of the schedule without a "what the hell am I looking at" situation rearing its ugly head.

I think the UK game qualifies as a "what the hell am i looking at" moment.

I went on record at the start of the season that I thought Florida was in for a mediocre year. I even suggested this season might be Muschamp's undoing. I do expect this upcoming game to be tightly contested early as I don't have a ton of faith in Bama's ability to deliver a death blow in the first half. WV was their own worst enemy, and although talent/coaching eventually pulled away, Bama did not overwhelm me.

I like Alabama by 10 with a late field goal to put it out of reach. Not sure what the line is and don't care. Just my pair of pennies.

I will talk smack with you.... One game (Ky) is not going to make me jump ship. FL fans are to fast to pull the trigger after last year. How soon they have forgot that FL went 11-2 with the same coach and QB in 2012. Footballs a game of matchups and one tough game doesn't always paint the picture.... :hi:

Guess they're leaving out that bowl game vs Lville.

UF stands no chance in hell of winning this game. Florida struggled against a mediocre Kentucky team at home. On the road against Alabama they are toast.

Bama wins easily in the end. Florida makes a game of it for the first half with a score of 14-7 favoring Alabama. During the second half Alabubba pulls away for a final in the neighborhood of 35-13.
