Couldn't happen to a better team or fanbase. There are a few exceptions like any school, but in general they are right there with georgia for being complete trash.

Prior to Steve Spurrier that’s what they were. Actually the years between Spurrier playing, then coaching were mostly average, average being not competing for a National Championship. We need to be careful with discounting Florida. The High School talent is overwhelming every year.

I wouldn't feel too sorry for them, they are still alot better than we have been 2009 to present.

Florida's record during that period is 114-65, we are 91-83. They have also been to the SEC championship game 4 times to our 0 in that period, and we are 2-12 against them head to head. Let's string several good seasons together before we start shedding tears for the Gators.

Haha All I'll say is that when I lurked for several years before joining, that was my easiest way of identifying lawgator. As for the topic, I will agree with who said that even with Florida's weakest teams in the past, they beat Tennessee. Many of the teams in that 2-12 run showed that. I just don't think that will be the case this year or moving forward unless Florida gets there act together.

True but in fairness to the current regime, both in the AD office and in the coaching offices, the world has changed DRAMATICALLY over just the last 3 years.

Very true, I’m just surprised they fell so far and quickly. Even knowing how it’s still shocking that they put up with it. Looking at Tennessee and being a fan though I get it. Tennessee spent years and millions of dollars chasing Fulmer results. Obviously I don’t want Florida to win any championships but good rivalries are what make sports great. With the portal and players having pouting fits I don’t think it’ll be back to what it could be.

Just my opinion though.
