Florida in trouble

I see it turns you on to go down that road....doesn't it sailor....

Actually there was a picture floating around one of the CFB blogs of the Pounceys and another guy thugging it up with their shirts off and pants sagging.

I'm fine with other people's personal choices. You're a gator fan with "insider" information on players tatoos. No need to make up a creepy story about a Pouncey three-way picture with details about their pants too.

Uf has a good relationship with the ncaa. I bet $100,000 that Foley sweet talks uf out of any big trouble.

No, we're not as good as Alabama right now.

I readily admit that.

This is true, largely I think because of their running game and the fact that we haven't had a consistent one since Emmit Smith.

But I would also say that Florida is a close second overall and that, within the SECOND, the drop off from ala and uf down to the next teams is fairly steep right now.

Congrats on that...it will help you get through the 2010 season. If UF wins another 3 NCs with one loss, I'm more than okay with that.

Unless you're in your 80s, UT's most successful period in CFB was the 1990s, and UF was better during that time. What happened before electricity and integration really doesn't concern me.

Tennessee also has more wins since segregation. and electicity. Not to mention superior tradition all around. See the difference between me and you is that I didnt choose tennessee because they were the best. See despite the fact that tennessee is a struggling program and florida is one of the top in the country, you are still the one on our site. Funny how that works. You are still clearly more concerned with tennessee than I am with florida. You know why that is? Because no matter how many games florida wins or how many championships they are given, you still wont have rocky top, you still wont have the checkerboard, you still wont run through a power T, you still wont have the vol navy, and the list goes on and on.

But it isnt. Tennessee has 7 undefeated seasons, Florida 0. Your best is not better than our best.

Yes and you were alive for one of those which equaled your one NC in your lifetime. We will take our 3 and be happy. Moving on, nothing to see here......:dance2:

Bring it brotha!

But they do have more RV parks in florida!

If the vols suck so bad, why do you 3 gay terds keep your ass on this board so much?

That dollar amount is a headscratcher. $100k is a lot of money for a guard.

He was drafted near the end of the first round. I'm guessing he gets maybe $8-10M guaranteed over 3-4 years. The agent's take, six percent of that is $600k best case over the life of the contract. That seems like a lot of risk for that kind of return.

I can see it for a QB like Sam Bradford, but a guy whose top end is mid first round, doesn't make much sense.

Maybe he was the bag man.
Maybe he kept his cut, then dispersed the rest to other players.

Overall wins all-time, yes.

Overall wins against UF all-time, not so much.

Right, when I was considering where to go to college some 25 years ago (were you even alive?), I carefully took into consideration UF's storied championship past and rich tradition of all those SEC championships.

Feel free to make some more ridiculous, unfounded assumptions when you've never met me.

Because it's possible to post on several message boards and forums at the same time? Or are you still using Netscape 1.0 as your internet browser?

You can have all that, it's unique and part of what makes college football special. I've stated many times on this board how much I enjoy visiting Neyland Stadium. It's a great venue, and we pretty much own you guys there recently. What's not to like?

Errict Rhett? Fred Taylor?

Heck Ciatrick Fason wasn't too shabby in 2004.

I'm sure you want that to be true as much as I want it to be false, but anything is possible at this point.

I don't mean it had to be other FL players.
Maybe he gave some to other teams' players.
Or, maybe none of this ever happened.

The genie is out of the bottle at this point.

Someone thought something happened to the point to where UF is openly cooperating with the NCAA.

My concern is Pouncey isn't the only recent UF draftee involved. The amount of money being reported just doesn't make sense for a late 1st round guard/center prospect.

It doesn't make sense.
You're right about former players, I think Percy is a client.

He's already stated he let his brother drive the Caddy. Another violation?

in this regulatory environment you've got to take everything seriously and report it or you're risking venturing down USC's path.

i could write an anonymous letter and mailed it from Mexico that said Riley Cooper was handed endorsement money from a shampoo company with this photo attached and everyone's so scared of the NCAA hammer that they'd even report it.
