They are now 13-15..so they would have to beat us, LSU, and UK to have any chance of making the NIT..or of course go on a run in the tourney. Whats the backstory on them this year?

This is roundball not pigskin... Except for two years (2011 and 2014) we have held our own with them going back to Jerry Green's tenure. I think Donnie T becomes the 5th Tennessee head coach to beat Donovan.

It's important to savor those all important regular season wins against future Hall of Fame coaches.

The tournament is all about matchups. Hence, UF winning back to back while going 1-3 vs UT during that stretch and UT not making it past the SW16. Both were good teams and given the same paths maybe UT does the same or maybe we lose even earlier than we did. We'll never know. But for 2 yrs in a row we were the better team when on the floor at the same time.

This whole thread falls under the putrid SEC thread standard. Man, the wheels are just coming off at FU, because Mizzou is baaaaad.

We also lost to unranked Vandy, LSU, Arkansas, FSU and South Carolina twice during that B2B NC run.

It was a big enough deal to LSU, FSU, Vandy and UT to where their students stormed the court.

Teams get upset in the regular season.

Do you know what Billy Boy's record against Tennessee is? I believe it's 19-18.

18 losses is more than just a few upsets.

Can't tell if u mad, trolling or just ignorant to Billy D's actual record vs. Tennessee.

Because all the original commenter said is that we've held our own against Billy D.

An 18-19 record certainly supports that. Nobody said anything about celebrating except you.
