Florida pass D horrible or is Alabama pass offense that good?

What the heck dude seriously?
Sal is a horrible DC. That doesn't mean hes a bad position coach cuz that's obiously not true. Yes Kiffin is a subpar HC but his failure does not make him a bad OC. If you wanna play the "hasn't proven" arguement that's fine lets go there but leave his HC stint out of it.

Im cool with that...but his HC experience is the only thing we have to judge from.Especially since he was calling the plays at SC. He has never been an OC by himself.

He called the plays at UT. Not sure about Oakland.
He gets half the credit at USC his 1st time around. Saban hired him as OC. I guess no one in the football business knows anything about being a good OC.

+1 thank you.

I never saw where the guy was pulling for Kiffin to have success.

YW.

Not a single person in this thread has "pulled" for Kiffin, Bama, or any other team that I have seen.

Only one poster can't figure that out.

And he is more worried about who is or isn't getting wood than talking football apparently.

And yet he gets hired by Saban ,installs a totally new offense and shows that he can be successful. And oh by the way his QB who was his choice to be starter throws for over 400yards. That's good coaching. That doesn't make a person a Bama fan. That's football dude. However when Bama comes to town you can best believe i hope we destroy his offense. According to you a Vol fan is supposed to hate on anybody that left the program. That's moronic thinking sprinkled with a loser mentality. Let's hate on Fulmer because he was fired. Let's hate Randy Sanders for having success at Florida State. And so on and so on....

Lane is a hell of a play caller and college QB coach when he can focus on just that. It took him all of 3 games to turn Crompton into one of the best QB's in the SEC in '09. Coker was supposed to be savior and yet Kiffin has turned Sims, an athlete, into a full fledged QB and Coker's in the same situation as he was at FSU. This Bama offense appears to be the most potent in Saban's tenure despite breaking in an inexperienced, first time starter at QB.

VH3 was also burned several more times either wiped away by penalty (38 yard pass). 20 yard TD on offensive pass interference and a fade from 30 that was one step out of bounds.

VH3 was schooled yesterday and he will be subject to that with tall wr's.

Poole is a solid NB having to play outside.

The rest have talent but green as F***. Only Neal played last yr.

Gorman is a great in the box S but gets exposed in coverage. Think Bryon Moore.

Gorman was terrible in box and was whiffing or getting run over all day yesterday. In your defense I believe you meant Coleman and not Byron Moore. Coleman is a physical db that tackles well but we all panic when he's in coverage.

I would say his injuries didn't help him.

You have Maye and Gorman mistaken. Gorman had two big tackles on Henry when he moved into the box. Maye was getting schooled by Drake and Yeldon. 11 missed tackles himself.

Maybe. It seems like #1 & everyone else as far as I remember.

Very surprised how soft Fowler played. He was getting beaten up by a true freshman and a TE all day.

Part is scheme as well. He's a press and island CB that had to play more zone yesterday bc terrible safety play again.

I only remember Neal with a big hit and then prancing after. I am rewatching game now and #2 looked terrible bouncing off guys and whiffing. is gorman #2?
