Florida Player Credit Card Rumors

Are you serious? This took a 30 second Google search. And while he was technically a "former" Vol, activities alleged had been taking place for some time prior to his arrest.

None of that is the point. The point is Jones has indefinitely suspended essentially every player accused of any semblance of illegal behavior immediately while at UT. Then dismissed them if charged/taken to trial etc

No on is saying we or any other team doesn't have these players. We (and other UF posters on here) are saying that Callaway has received way too many chances. A few are saying this may be a bad precedent for CJM to set with UF.

That's it. No one is acting like this crap doesn't happen elsewhere.

We dismissed a 5th year senior solid DT last year for a couple positive drug tests in house when we lost every other DT on our roster save 1 with any experience. 1 DT in the SEC and he kicked him off for private drug tests...

I'm asking, you set the standard for Florida, I'm asking if you have the same standard for Josh Smith and Alexis Johnson. Both show still on the roster. Are they suspended for GT at least?

Alexis was cleared. And didn't do jack. He was also indefinitely suspended UNTIL he was completely cleared.

Josh Smith punched a roommate that came out later and admitted he was being a jerk.

Both one time offenses and one wasn't even an offense.

How is the similar to Callaway??

It's not up to you to determine how many chances someone gets, it's up to McElwain and the University. If we got to determine who should be disciplined at other schools, I'd insist that all the DUI's for Bama would be dismissed, FSU wouldn't have kicked Florida's butt 4 years straight led by scumbags Jamies Winston and Dalvin Cook, all of UGA's problem players would be suspended and Josh Smith and Alexis Johnson wouldnt be playing for Tennessee.

Alexis was before LAST year and indefinitely suspended until cleared.

Josh got in a fight with his friend at his house...once.

Sorry to repeat but you are doing nothing but proving the actual point over and over man. Let it go. Callaway has had way too many chances.

Nothing you said is inaccurate but none of it matters or is pertinent to what is being said.

Of course I don't make those decisions.

I am saying (and everyone else in this thread including the UFers) are saying that Mac is making the wrong decision and Callaway is a problem

Where in ththe heck did I ever say I get to choose that? You are reaching hard, hard man. If you can't see the problem with Callaway then you are blind.

Your first sentence says it all! Callaway was cleared in his sex assault case too! It's all good when UT players get "cleared" but something nafarius when UF players do? So that leaves you wanting Callaway kicked off the team for being pulled over in a car which had marijuana? And in this latest stipend card incident, he has been suspended for a game.

One time accusation and cleared..Callaway just got in trouble...AGAIN.

Man, I ain't trying to argue with you. You just aren't making sense and are not bringing rational thought or comparison to the equation here.

I am trying but it is a lost cause

Oh, so mere months after graduation, he started seeking and molesting underage girls. It was good of him to wait. Sick.

Deflecting from the point. Not one person here is acting like any of these people did good things.

The ONLY point is that they are indefinitely suspended or kicked of till cleared or found they did it and Callaway keeps getting in trouble and stays on the team.

Not a single things said above is up for argument. It is all documented and true.

It's time to move on to another point or thread...

I'm out of patience with Callaway as well, and have said so, and actually hope one of UF's other capable WR's pushes him out of the lineup permamanetly.

My issue is with a fan of any school trying to pass judgment on another school and how it handles discipline, acting holier than thou, ESPECIALLY when that school has had tons of incidents over the years. Hell, the "Fulmer Cup" is actually a thing.

Haha.No one here is "acting holier than though"

You are reading into it what you want. Fulmer, Kiffin, Myer, Spurrier, Sabah, Miles, Fisher, and McElwain all have left people on the team they shouldn't.

There are coaches around the country though that have these exact same bad actors as the coaches above and institute discipline more harshly and with bigger penalties. Jones is one of them so far. McElwain may be a better coach. So far Jones has been better about kicking off bad seeds.

Don't see an argument against that. And there is nothing meant "holier by that."

Heck, I wish Jones wouldn't have kicked off a couple. We could have used them!! (Drug tests, not the bad seeds who are raping and doing that horrible crap)

Listen man. No one (or at least I am not) attacking you. Most of us think Callaway is a problem and CJM should have a three strike rule or something to encourage discipline. A bunch of other coaches do the same as him though.

That's it!

Agree with everything you posted above. And props to Jones for booting the bad seeds, good on him. There is no doubt from my seat that Jones has done a really nice job cleaning up some of the bs that goes on. Mac was tested early on at Florida with stud DB's JC Jackson and Deondre Porter, kicked both off the team. He has to be absolutely fed up with Callaway and I wouldn't be surprised if he punishes Callaway more than the one game. These players put coaches in really bad positions when they get in trouble. Unless your Saban, he just does what he wants, the University is scared to say/do anything and his media just cowers in the corner afraid to even ask questions.
