I wasn’t being condescending if it came across that way I apologize. It’s just that I was on SDS and had read some comments that were just disgusting. We poke, we joke and we goad each other’s teams. The fact that this is something far more serious is the reason for my comment. Believe it or not if I had my choice I’d be living out in the country hills of Tennessee however life didn’t afford that option. Be good, joke, laugh, love and live life but I’m not going to make comments derogatory about this situation.

Yes, we do believe. The country hills offer a good place to live. Florida is a nice visit, but no desire to actually live in that mess.

Before people start generalizing about people or programs we need to consider that this could have happened to any program. I sort of feel sympathy for the Gator program and fans. These kids may have the bodies of adults but there is sometimes a lack of gray matter development.

Not that I expect you to believe this, but bible scholars will tell you that much of it was written with deliberately inserted historical cultural context. What that means is, for example, had it been written about America in later times, much would have been included about slavery. It would not imply that slavery was good, but a facet of life at a particular period of time. A great deal of what is actually in the Bible is not promoted by Christianity, but was laying what was going on at the times as a backdrop. No historical writing would have been complete without that cultural layer.

Nobody said anything about the Bible promoting it, said person said entertainment is bad because it contains it.

Prison, he's in GP. Unless you're a celebrity; ex-cop; gang leader; or headliner (famous victim; active shooter, serial killer, etc.), then you go to GP, and you get what you get.

Innocent until proven guilty, but he's about to learn that being a jock only makes you a bigger target inside the walls. Even more so with the charges, so my guess he's in lockdown. No shortage of mid-level thugs in there who would love to up their cred by sticking a sharpened toothbrush handle in his liver.

Fox has had to put a disclaimer on his show that says it’s for entertainment purposes only as he doesn’t adhere to the (even basic) journalistic standards.

I don’t know if you mean “go free” as escape all punishment
But if he was in LA he’d be out of jail with little to no bond as this would be considered a non violent offense. This at least was what I was referring to.

Yes it is called context.

The context explains why such text is in the Bible, but it has nothing to do with how a kid would read it in 2022. I certainly am not advocating for the good book to be banned, but I also don't think "parental choice" should mean banning books from a library.
