All the sudden we're really deep now. I remember reading posts on here saying we weren't deep past our starting 5.
Also, Reese got a solid 5-7 minutes this game. If him or Q transferred after this year, I could see it being Q over Reese.
After this game, I'm thinking we're 9 or so deep, but there really is a big drop off at center without Maymon or Stokes. I know most teams are in trouble if their two starting big men are in foul trouble, but we would really be in trouble. Luckily, that doesn't seem to happen very often. All the sudden we're really deep now. I remember reading posts on here saying we weren't deep past our starting 5.

I don't think Richardson actually played point this game, and if he did, it was in the no scorer lineup we had out there, so it wouldn't have shown much.I only watched the highlights but... how did Richardson look at point? I'm worried that Barton may not be a great distributor, more of a scorer, and McRae cannot be our point.

Yeah, I was surprised Q didn't get any minutes this game. Maybe he'll get some time in the next exhibition. Hm...Q might be in Coach Martin's doghouse - I feel like every other previous/likely contributor played, aside from Barton/Lopez who were injured. Chievous' absence was conspicuous.
According to Zo and the players they're excited to have Barton on the team. He pushes the pace of the offense and is an excellent passer, and defender. After this game, I'm thinking we're 9 or so deep, but there really is a big drop off at center without Maymon or Stokes. I think Barton will be fine, and if he's not, Thompson did a great job of running the offense.
