Florida suspends 7 for Michigan game

Finebaum actually had the number at 10 players suspended for the Michigan game.

Yea when I typed this it was 8, up to 10 now and probably more.

I would think there would be a potential reportable violation to the NCAA on some of the guys, but I don't know the details. Big difference between stealing from a 3rd party and stealing from the school, especially, if the school or even some school officials knew. It could be viewed as receiving a benefit... it could also lead to vacated wins. LSU had an assistant coach paying the rent of a player... LSU had to suspend both... the player never played a down for LSU... Akiem Hicks. If the player played, especially after the school knew... vacated wins is a real possibility.

This just seems weird and I'm wondering if someone in UFAD decided that once a few key players needed to be suspended they may as well take a kitchen sink approach. Think about it. This game will have an asterisk next to it in the mind of just about every poll voter. Assuming that UF can take care of most of it's other business in the regular season, by November it will look a lot better for them to have lost the opener with 10 or more suspended starters and contributors than to have lost with 3-4 suspensions.
