Yea, I say UF, their defense is very good and with a third down converter like Tebow they win.

I'm thinking Tuberville and Auburn are going to bounce back pretty strong after the loss to Arkansas. For Tennessee's sake, I sure hope so.

Auburn: 24
Florida: 20

I am going to enjoy watching this. Especially without having to worry about Tennessee's score.

perhaps, now that Tuberville does not have to worry so much about the BCS he will take some time to prepare his team to play

I hope Auburn wins for 2 reasons.

First, we really need them to beat Florida, and they have always been my second favorite team. I have always really liked Auburn, and man, that loss yesterday was just SICKENING:furious3:, but our big win in Athens last night definitely made up for it.

I don't know a second favorite team. :p

But I certainly will pull for anyone playing Florida unless its the bowl game.

After the Hogs exposed Auburn and the LSU loss I don't see anyone beating Florida. I think the Gators run the table from here on out. They're the only team in Florida doing well now, Id say their recruiting is in for a winfall.....The Urban Dynasty begins.

EXACTLY RIGHT on the recruiting point. This is the main thing a buddy and I discussed on the drive back from Gainesville last night. While it is true that FSU and Miami will still get good players, and while it is also true that some players will go to those schools figuring they can start earlier, I think the cream of the crop -- the super elite -- will now come in droves to Florida.

Those players (the Tim Tebows, the Percy Harvins) can play anywhere early in their careers. Miami is done and their program is fading like cheap paint. FSU is stuck with a regime that refuses to move over for the next one. But Florida is getting better and better and all the momentum is with them right now.

Oh, don't get me wrong, UT will ALWAYS be #1 in my book. I have just always pulled for Auburn too, as long as they are not playing us.

I think Florida will probably drill them. Auburn got embaressed by Arkansas and was lucky to beat SC.

Auburn will beat Florida. AU has a small but quick defense. Florida does not have the running game that Arkansas has. Tuberville is a better coach than Meyer. The game is in AllBarn. Florida is due for a bad game. Look for a game like last years Florida vs. Bama game.......blowout with UF on the short end!!

P.S. We do not have to have Auburn beat UF, but if they don't we would need Georgia to beat UF (Don't expect any help from South Carolina or Vandy). Then UT and UGA both have to win the remainder of their conference games with UT winning impressively enough to finish higher in the polls than UF or UGA. Therefore, we might see Fulmer running up the score a little on some of the weaker opponents.

i'm wondering what would our chances be of getting a bcs bowl w/ out winning the sec saying of course we run the table (fingers crossed) if we did run the table we would be about maybe 4th or 5th if not higher.

Not only will the beat them Saturday the will beat them again in December, assuming Georgia can't beat Florida! Their defense just matches up better against UF.

Exactly what do you mean by that? Position-by-position, or scheme versus scheme, please explain your comment. I think you are just making that up, having heard the phrase uttered so many times on tv...

Next Saturday, I am a War Eagle fan for a day. BUT, one not-so-unreasonable scenario that does bother me a little is that - if UF loses in a close one but still looks mostly solid, I doubt the pollsters would drop them below us, and so there's the potential for us to drop a spot in the polls without playing. This always sucks but occasionally happens. Let's hope not. :crossfingers: But then again, with half the season left, I suppose a UF loss is more important to us than any concern over being ranked 8th or 9th, yes?

imo florida has been playing lucky all year long their defense is ok yes just ok.
their offense is just that offensive. once elbow is stopped and put in his place leak will crumble like the one trick pony that he is. i dont see them beating auburn @ auburn not going to happen after this weekend there will not be any undefeated teams in the SEC and the urban renewal will be over.

plus keep in mind other that beating UT this year @ UT UF if a terrible road team

IMO. Florida has a finesse type running attack rather than the Arkansas smashmouth style and Will Muschamp(?sp) will have a defense that will confuse Leak/Tebow. If Brandon Cox is healthy(has been hobbled), he will pass effectively on Florida's secondary.

If we win out, I am 95% sure we will be in the BCS.

big time prediction here
Auburn beats Florida and that will send Florida on a skid the rest of the season losing to GA and SC well maybe not SC but at least GA think about this did you see leak's face when tebow threw that td pass leak is not taking to a freshman filling in for him and it will lead to riff between the team want an example? look at UT last year it will happen i can already hear leak "but i'm the heisman candidate"

Wishful thinking by you. Even if Florida loses, they get a weekend off to regroup and pound UGA.
