Well, the Auburn game is in Auburn, and for some reason, we always seem to have issues playing there, so despite how bad Auburn looked yesterday, that game will be a challenge either way. We play: Alabama, LSU, Auburn, UGA, USCe, AND FSU. That's a really difficult schedule...

Check LSUs schedule.

LSU's schedule:
OOC - Oregon, West Virginia, 2 cupcakes
OOD - UF, UK and UT
Plus everyone else in the West

UF's schedule:
OOC - FSU, 3 cupcakes
OOD - Bama, AU, LSU
Plus everyone else in the East

LSU's schedule is tougher.

Then who was calling the plays? It certainly wasn't Belichick who is a defensive coach and it wasn't Brady who was in his 2nd year in the league.
It was the guy who is the best defensive coach there is. Veto power is the whole thing and game planning was not left to BUP.

Bottomline is you don't play anybody in the east comparable to who we play in the west. Add in the fact that UF is going to give everybody fits this year and our schedules are a push at best with your FSU game.

It is comical you are adding in Auburn as a tough game this year.

KC turned around because they played an easy schedule last year, in a bad division. They played 1 team that made the playoffs, and scored a whopping 9 points against an average Colts d. KC was an average team at best. The Chargers had no defense or consistency on offense, the Raiders are the Raiders, and the Broncos were screwing around with the mess of a QB they got from Florida.

Attributing their turn around to biggy is a stretch. Florida may be better but don't kid yourself about Weiss being the second coming.

Florida is decent this year, but not likely to be great. No bruising short yardage running back, inconsistent passing game, and some problems in the defensive secondary.

But we will probably be favored in the UT game and that's correct.

I said that every time we play Auburn, something crazy happens. Auburn, Mississippi State, and Ole Miss (yes, Ole Miss for pete's sake) give us fits whenever we play them.

As bad as Auburn looked on Saturday, I thoroughly expect a difficult game when we visit Jordan Hare.

You and Weiss will have to earn praise. Unless your prepping him for his HOF induction. Monte was great too but I wouldn't want him coaching my D now. Meyer was great but I bet you wish you had last year back.

Gotcha, after WADdazzio you guys should be doing a jig for Weiss. I said it before I hope you guys are as good as you hope when we head down there. Should be a good game. I have am avatar bet with one of your trolls for the season if we win. Should have gotten a spread since we play in your house but I'm still liking what the Vols could do.

It's easier, not to mention more reassuring, to hammer Weis' NFL credentials instead of conceding UF's offense is much better than a year ago.

Our worst offense in 25 years scored 31 in Neyland.

You guys won't give it up about last year.

We achieved nearly 0 1st downs, which left an uber young D out there. We had a patchwork on the D line and got 0 pressure on Brantley. Heck one of our main receivers was out, Simms was playing and Malik was still at DE. A lot has changed since then for us and you. We have some depth, better starters at QB and both lines not to mention a better 1a RB.

I want FL to be confident so there are no excuses when we beat you. Last year I think playing you early definitely hurt us. This year I think playing you early favors us.

I'd be more worried about Cincinnati than Florida if I were you. If you guys can't find a way to run the ball on Cincinnati, you're in deep trouble come 2 weeks in Gainesville.

Our offense may be a work in progress, but the UF defense is the real deal. You can count on that. For those that don't remember, as bad as UF was last season, we still ended up with a top 10 defense in the country.

I watched the first half of the Florida game (replay yesterday). The defense looked really good. It'll be interesting to see how good they are against a team that can pass.

A work in progress sounds right for the O.
Demps and Rainey were effective when they got on the edge. There were lots of yards on those swing passes out of the back-field. Florida had nothing down the field in the passing game, nor was there an inside run game.

In the first half, I only saw one inside run for significant gain (Last play of the 1st QTR, delay/draw for about 7 yards). I'd even go as far as to say if you only totaled inside hand-offs, Florida probably had no-gain or minus yards rushing.

UAF was clearly no match for Florida. How Florida will stack up against BCS talent is yet to be seen.

I kind of thought that, then i remember UF's secondary isn't very good and we have a track star as a receiver. Yeah good luck with that.:good!:

Yeah... If your O-Line can't block the UF front 7, it might not matter. The game will come down to which O-Line performs better. Bray is definitely better than Brantley; I'm not disputing that. Your WR core is more PROVEN, key here PROVEN, than UF's is at this point. UF has alot of talent at the position. Not to mention Jordan Reed as a TE, who's a nightmarish MU for your defense.

But if we get pressure on Bray all day, it won't matter. UF will win if that happens. Same is true if Tennessee gets pressure on Brantley, and if UF can't open holes for Rainey and Demps.

Tennessee can pass block, run blocking with 9 in the hole is a problem right now though. Poole isn't great and Lane is a freshman, it's going to be a game.

We showed nothing, Florida showed nothing. We'll see in 2 weeks.
