Football and Capitalism...

let me help ya out:

Corporate Bankruptcy

A trustee is appointed to "liquidate" (sell) the company's assets and the money is used to pay off the debt, which may include debts to creditors and investors.

The investors who take the least risk are paid first. For example, secured creditors take less risk because the credit that they extend is usually backed by collateral, such as a mortgage or other assets of the company. They know they will get paid first if the company declares bankruptcy.

Bondholders have a greater potential for recovering their losses than stockholders, because bonds represent the debt of the company and the company has agreed to pay bondholders interest and to return their principal. Stockholders own the company, and take greater risk. They could make more money if the company does well, but they could lose money if the company does poorly. The owners are last in line to be repaid if the company fails. Bankruptcy laws determine the order of payment.

Dude. I'm not going to just take your word for it that The President of the United States explicitly and purposefully broke the law. It's gonna take a judge.

with the Congress we have now? Not a chance in hell

this is kind of like getting beaten by your husband and him saying "hey, your dad beat you too!"

well if that many people agree....just sayin

So Obama's malfeasance will require a judge, but you take it on faith from a Soros-funded website that George W. is a war criminal?

This is my point. Pretending that this administration is soooo much worse than the last, or the one before that, or the one before that, is simply disengenuous.

Mission Accomplished
I did not have sexual......
I am not a crook

just because someone disagrees with you doesn't make them stupid, and it doesn't make you right.

Why can't someone (PJ for example) believe both were terrible presidents and criticize those who make themselves apologists for the administration? I am fairly certain this is the way PJ feels, it's valid criticism IMO.

Ironically it is the same people who had such extreme views against Bush that have equally extreme admiration for Obama. They are making many of the same mistakes.

that's not my word. that the SEC's website. are you really arguing that someone isn't guilty of something unless they get convicted?

if a misspelling is grounds for loss of credibility, then I'm sure no one should ever listen to another word you say ever. Along with anyone else. In fact, no one has any credibility at all, we should just do what the ball in the sky tells us because if you cant type for 8 hrs a day and spell every word correctly then you have no place in society and no one should listen to what you say.

Stop trying to nitpick and argue the point. If you have one.

Holy Cow, it is Cash.... how in the world are you?

It is a shame they banned your screen name....

Thats ridiculous insulting and insensitive. You are all right, the President should be impeached and every office should be filled with the person of your choosing. So should we all have an Obama bashing session and congratulate each other on being so smart now?

No, but I would at least prefer if we could call a spade a spade.

Let's try a different approach. What has Obama done right, or at the very least something you agree with, to this point.

start treaty

I am a proponent of Health care reform, though what was passed might not work, it's a start.

Iran sanctions

Iraq pullout

Stance on Israel, Palastinian conflict

Generally improved diplomatic relations

He's not God, and he may not even turn out to be a good President, but he's not the worst.

I hide nothing............ :)

You'll be better off once you realize gov't = failure........... might take you a while though.

I figured I would leave that to someone else.......

I'll go all in my poker chips and call cash's/alwaysorange81's bluff......

Pursuing an MBA and you don't have the slightest clue about bankruptcy law? You've got a lot to learn!

well...the pursuit is slow developing and really only started recently. I had to decide what I wanted to be when I grow up. And no I'm not that young. I went to college in the Marine Corps. That was 12 years ago :ermm:
