You said, "If the people you speak of are toddlers that can not make their own choices. "
What are those choices?
The same choices we all make everyday. Do the job that is assigned or find another. There is over a 98% recovery rate and even higher in the college age group. Peddle your fear where it is welcome.
Sweet so I can refuse to do my job and sue my employer bc of the pandemic.....So, you would threaten our football staff. Do your job as normal, or else you're fired.
Not smart. The SEC is already on the record stating they expect players to contract the virus. This, in turn, is an admission that everyone in the program will, as well.
Any school firing personnel for not "doing their job" during a pandemic would be sued. Plain and simple.

So provide masks and gloves bc that is what I do in healthcare.... hand wash station and provide disinfectant and they are treated the same as any other profession still working. If the UT athletic department issued a "work or you're fired" threat - and then followed up on it - yes, they would likely be sued. And rightfully so.
Ensuring a safe workspace is basic business management 101 and subject to a bazillion local, state and fed regulations. If you don't understand that, well...

Then why are Walmart, Publix, and every other employer that are open for business not being sued? You have dug a hole that you continue to sink into. All precautions are being taken to protect the employees. They then choose to work there or find another job.

Heh. You can jump up and down, curse like a sailor, hold your breath until you turn blue - it ain't gonna help.
All I can say my friend is try not to be too disappointed when the SEC postpones football until Spring.
Not in TN bub, we're a right to work state.
