Sorry for the confusion. I meant, Fulmer coached against a number of Rookie Coaches at their respective schools: ND, UF, LSU, Ole Miss, SC almost half the UT schedule.

How do you define rookie coach?

thanks for clarifying....but on that list...i would hardly consider Spurrier "rookie".

As I thought was simply stated, UF had a new SEC Rookie Coach, same for LSU, same for Ole Miss, even though not in the SEC, ND had a rookie Coach, and even though SOS was not new to the SEC, he was at a very new SEC location.

SOS from Gainesville to Columbia is roughly the same difference as Fulmer to Gainesville (trying to be fair & remaining in the same Division) not quite the same since UF is "on track" more than SC in fb.
