Yeah but in no way can you ever count Florida as a win. I’m thinking 7-5 right now. That’s 4-2 against SC, Mizzou, Vandy, KY, Miss St, and BYU. That seems doable, albeit tough based on what we saw this year. I truly hope you are right but UF may only take a small step back depending on how many people leave early.
I am still trying to figure out what our offensive game plan was yesterday. It looked like couple runs and then a pass to try an convert. No jet sweeps, no screens, no working the middle of the field. Anyone could have called what we saw yesterday. Helton is as bad as his brother.Whatever happens, Helton just wasn't a good hire, especially at the price we paid.
I agree 100%I just don’t see how you can judge Pruitt on much that happened this year. Yes there are some concerns and yes there were some good moments. Next year he will have his first real recruiting class and have a full season of experience as a HC and with all of the returning players. I expect to see massive improvement in the mental part of the game. Does that mean we will go 10-2 next year? No, 6 or 7 wins is likely as he will probably need 2 full classes to truly start to change this team and show big improvement on the field. We have to wait and see what happens. I’m not saying Pruitt is for sure the guy but we certainly don’t know that he isn’t at this point.
Let me guess, Kliff Kingsbury is your guy? If so, his offense will hurt our defense just as much. I am not sure you have noticed but the offense we ran this year stressed our D just as much. 1st downs and TD's are required if you want to save the Defense, and as you know that did not happen often this year. Freeze will land somewhere and if it is not us then I hope it is outside the conference, because at some point the guys in B-town, AL will forgive and allow Freeze to coach in some capacity again in the SEC.Absolutely not. He doesn't run the type offense JP wants and Freeze's offense put's huge strains on the teams defense. Not to mention the SEC office would have to sign off on it first and then I doubt Fulmer would. Freeze will most likely be at Auburn next season.
