Duke and Villanova were both on the road and Texas hasn't beaten a decent team at full strength in a couple of months. Oh, by the way. You play to win the games. The three teams you mentioned combined to go 3-0 tonight. Clemson, on the other hand, lands at 0-1.In other "shocking" news..
#7 Duke fighting for their life against bubble team Maryland.
#12 Villanova pulls out 2-point win against a last place DePaul (9-18)
#24 Texas losing at home to 12-15 Texas Tech in 2nd half

#7 Duke fighting for their life against bubble team Maryland but Duke did eventually win and that's all that matters. Did I mention that this was a road game for Duke?
#12 Villanova pulls out 2-point win against a last place DePaul (9-18) but "winning is all that matters" and that's just what Nova did-- they won, and on the road!! by 2 points... against last place DePaul. which is better than what Clemson did tonight. They lost!!!
#24 Texas losing at home to 12-15 Texas Tech in 2nd half...but Texas eventually won this game, which is really all that matters. Besides, texas sucks, but not as much as Clemson, who LOST at home to the sucky Va Tech hokies. Clemson's downfall is imminent!!

What do these 3 teams have in common that Clemson doesn't. They won and Clemson lost. Shocking.
Ho!-oh-ho-o! Oh-ho-ho-o-o!!! Everybody do the chop now.
The Tigs fall to FSU on the road today. I think their days of being ranked in the polls are numbered.
Way to put Hat's argument in context against yours.
Horrible 'rebuttal'
You're comparing one night snap shots. We're looking at years of 2nd half conference season collapses.
When did they drop out?
Last I checked, they've been ranked every week since Dec 15.
ooof. Think about what you're suggesting here, UTLCA. Seriously, think about what that implies. Then think about how strange a thing that is to say.
Do you honestly believe that regardless of personnel and coach changes, there is something about the color orange or the letters c-l-e-m-s-o-n that causes '2nd half conference season collapses'?
If you do, that is awesome.
I'm not saying they did drop out, my point was for the fact that it is just silly that he was justifying the fact that they had a number of days that they were in the polls is ok if they drop out since he was apparently agreeing with the cock fan that clemson's days are numbered.
That's like me saying wooo tennessee was in the polls earlier this season! That means so much!
