For All The People Who Have Been Hyping Clemson...

I think Clyde is twice the coach that Horn is. But I agree that would be great for us. I do think CBG is stubborn to a fault sometimes...Like playing that Porter kid at point, they have to have a better option...he is terrible.
but that is happening so that Liggins learns what I imagine is a very valuable lesson that will help UK for the long term.

If he learns it and they add who they thing they're adding, they will absolutely drill the conference next year and be a player in the big title hunt.

How about you quit making assumptions about what you think my argument is and argue the point itself.

What is there to argue, oh yeah duke played a fantastic game against Clemson! Yes that's it! I didn't think it was possible for someone to get dumber by the minute.

I agree that is the reason....but damn. Porter is a human turnover.

I'm not laughing with the Clemson defenders, I'm laughing at them. Can't wait for them to spin this one.

Lol seeing this thread at the top. Therefore, I, notverycrucial, a defender, must now bow before hatvol96 in all his infinite wisdom at predicting clemson's annual collapse. the defenders' only hope for vindication is that somehow these tigers muster enough strength to make a sweet sixteen appearance. anything less would be unacceptable to the hordes.

seriously, this ga tech team is capable of beating anyone in the acc on any given night. college basketball is like that. that said, it was a bad loss for clemson. one of very few this year. we'll see how they do in the ncaas.

I'm going to take this one like a man. We haven't played well in the month. Were we overrated? In retrospect, yes. We've probably locked up a 6 seed and I don't forsee myself picking Clemson to win one in the NCAA.

ooof. Think about what you're suggesting here, UTLCA. Seriously, think about what that implies. Then think about how strange a thing that is to say.

Do you honestly believe that regardless of personnel and coach changes, there is something about the color orange or the letters c-l-e-m-s-o-n that causes '2nd half conference season collapses'?

If you do, that is awesome.

What coaching changes?

Last time I checked, Oliver Purnell is the same guy piloting these trainwrecks.

Oh and lookey here...Clemson proves you and all the ACC lovers dead wrong...."Ooof".

Wow. Do you honestly believe this? They had 2 wins in the regular season. Face it- you were wrong.

Not sure what I was wrong about. Ga Tech? Clemson? Both? I think I've been fairly nuanced in my defending of Clemson and I've admitted when they've had bad losses. Ga Tech was a bad loss.

Regarding my comment about Ga Tech being capable of beating any ACC team on any given night. (That's true in most leagues btw), I stand by that. Tech's performance yesterday went along to show just that as FSU needed a last second shot to beat the last place team in the ACC. (That's the same FSU that just beat the No. 1 team in America and will be playing in the ACC championship Sunday.

It's been a pretty exciting ACC tournament so far. One of the best in recent memory.

Well its tourney time and what does that mean?

Time for Clemson to choke. Ogilsvy was just ejected for a cheapy elbow.

I just don't understand Clemson. At all. Still time for a win, but it's looking grim as I sit here sipping gin.

ROFL- No idea where that came from.

Poor Clemson. Nothing but heartbreak for them in the tourney. Hate it for Purnell, but how do you lose to a Michigan team that hasn't been there in ten years? Clemson.

Let's see. That's now a recent home loss to a decent but not excellent Florida State team and a defeat to an awful Virginia team in the last couple of weeks. Add that to the weight of recent late season collapses and you've got a trend.

That is scary good analysis.

Might be some overrated due to early season HS schedule.
