I wasn't talking about their rankings. I asked if SC fans could make fun of Clemson because they had a superior coach.

Purnell isn't that good of a coach. Clemson just has a super easy first 15 games and then when they are in the bulk of their ACC games, they choke and show their true colors. Just like Clemson does in every other sport....

Other than resurrect a cellar-dwelling ACC football school program while competing against Tobbacco Road schools (and their referees) while leading them to the ACCT championship game and an NCAA tournament bid. Sure, in recent seasons the record in the second half of the season is less than stellar, but coming from where this program has been, he hardly not done anything "ever".

That last football game of the regular season sure has been a tough one the last ten years or so...

I'm not on the guys sack like some...but his past two seasons have been pretty good....Took Western KY to a sweet 16 and has uSC sitting pretty at the moment. For a 5th year HC that's not too shabby.

The KY fans I am forced to associate with all think that they should drop Clyde and get Horn...I personally could not care less.

His last Hilltopper team was good, but they defeated Drake and San Diego to reach the Sweet 16. I don't mean to take anything away from the accomplishment, but it was certainly a favorable draw for Horn's club.

As for the job he's done this year at South Carolina -- it's been ok...good, not great. His team has no impressive victories, but they're in position to win their division...if they do that, he deserves some recognition. But, let's face it, they've just been above average in a terrible conference.

I would absolutely love for KY to go the Horn route. I assume they aren't that stupid, but it would be great for us.

I think Clyde is twice the coach that Horn is. But I agree that would be great for us. I do think CBG is stubborn to a fault sometimes...Like playing that Porter kid at point, they have to have a better option...he is terrible.
