For All Those Hyping Billy Clyde

He's taking his lumps, but it won't be much longer. He's preseason favorite next year in conference and will be hard to handle.

I'm glad someone started one of these. It'll be a good resource to use in finding people to ridicule, kind of like all the threads ripping Rich Rodriguez this season.

What he did at UTEP and A&M was incredible, and almost everyone agrees CBG is a better coach than Pearl. That being said, Pearl's first two years were far better with less talent, no?

Not a problem. In a terrible league, with the talent he has, he should have won the east easily if he is the great coach almost everyone thinks he is.

Yeah, Michael Porter and Ramon Harris are awesome.

He doesn't have the most talented team in the conference. We have more talent and he drilled us twice.

I really just want people to be fair. UT loses to Georgia at home and Pearl is a terrible coach etc.

CBG loses and it's wait till next year.

All I know is it shouldn't take a school that wasn't that down like Kentucky three years to rebuild if UT's program got turned around in one year.

What was Kentucky's SEC record last year? I bet it was the best one they've had in at least two years.

Two guys who are good players, nothing more. The fact Meeks is averaging around 25 per and nobody considers him a first round lock should tell people something.

I'm not trying to project him to the NBA, but I'm not sure (I'll admit I don't follow it super close) what two players in the east I would rather have on my team.

Meeks, in college, is better than anyone on UT. Patterson is averaging 19/9.

He's too small to have his very limited range and lame defense.

I should have figured it out when Huggs wasn't terribly bothered by not being able to get in on his redcruitment when he got to Morgantown.

Why. Single game outcomes aren't truly indicative. Both have bodies of work that show the real deal.

As to UGA, we have a much better team. UK doesn't.

I'd take Tyler Smith, Nick Calathes, or Devan Downey over Meeks or Patterson without hesitation.

I don't know but they have lost some terrible games, that if Pearl lost, you said say "see I told you."

I'm not trying to be a jerk or anything, and I'll admit you are a far better source at CBB, but it just doesn't seem like they are being judged the same.

I haven't seen much of Downey, but I've heard good things. I like Calathes but Tyler has been a no show too much this year IMO.

Kinda like this gem? BCG will be lucky to be employed by UK next season.

I'll lay some decent odds that he's there.
