That's not it at all. We could make the stakes of the wager nonmonetary. For example, I'll take on all of those who think BCG won't make it past next season. Losers get their heads shaved.

:lol: See, now that is a bet I'd be more willing to take (as I don't like to bet money I don't have. And I don't have a lot) But, I think Gillispie will be there at least four years unless they completely and absolutely implode next year.

will this count his bouts with driving while intoxicated coming back to haunt him? I don't think he gets fired after next season for the team he fields, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him busted for drinking too much and partying with coeds that would lead to a dismissal.

Why are people so intent on defending BCG?

Can't we just enjoy the fact that UK's at-large bubble got popped and worry about the talent they'll have next year, well.....next year?

I don't care to defend him. I don't even like him, but I still think his squad has overachieved for the last 2 seasons.

I think they underachieved in the first half of his first season, and it clouded the judgment of his ensuing 1.5 seasons. That said, I can't deny the fact that Meeks, Patterson, and Orton would make for quite a nucleus next year. I just want to enjoy the moment we are in now.

I don't get it. His teams have been atrocious, as some of the results attest.

Patterson is enormously overrated and will be a terrible pro and meeks is simply a shooter. That's all he has had to work with IMO. Last year he had two big time horses in Bradley and Crawford. Between the 4, they'll never see a start in the NBA.

It's not Tubby's anything. He has clearly struggled to date, but his talet level has also sucked. We exaggerate the talent because he keeps handing us our own asses, but they have been limited in general.

i dont watch all their games, but they sure as hell overachieved last feb. in kville. that game made me believe that the man knows his xs and os.

unfortunately 4 him, coaching is more than that.
