that said Martin didn't show any emotion, and it bugs you, or there is no passion, and whatever else...

you'd be wrong after today's game.

he was letting the refs have it i loved it. i looked over at one point in the 2nd half and his tie was flying all over the place.

i have a feeling he is starting to get a bit more comfortable and maybe is starting to come out of his shell just a bit. i like it.

CCM's style reflects how he wants his players to be on the court. Emotionally stable, focused and confident. He is a great role model for these kids.

I'd just like to voice my complaints about Renaldo Woolridge and Josh Richardson.

They're like the Batman and Robin of crummy basketball.

Cheers.

I haven't complained about it. But I will say, I liked what I saw with him down at the end of the bench coaching his ass off, barking quick orders, and fist pumping when his player reacted quickly to what he was teaching. I specifically recall Maymon battling Patricia Young and fighting for position as CM was telling him what to do, much like a wrestling coach during a wrestling match talking about angles and position.

I called coach out for sitting on the bench like an assistant. It's nice to see him up, working the sideline giving instruction. But regardless of how he worked the sideline yesterday, how does that make me wrong for pointing out a lack of it weeks ago? Failed call-out thread? Nice.

I like CCM's approach. He doesn't get too excited whcih I think keeps his players calm as well when they are facing adversity. I can't stand how Calipari goes nuts everytime I see him on TV, yelling at his players constantly.

some may not agree, but i just really feel like martin is getting more and more comfortable here. i saw him a few times while at msu and he was a pretty firey guy, much like he was last night against UF. i think much like dooley was you come in and are just a bit unsure, you dont want to be a walking poster like kiffin made himself. i feel ccm has started to earn respect from other players and coaches, and add in he is now getting getting more comfortable in k-town, and i think you are starting to see the man come out of his shell a bit.

i like it.

It's a stupid complaint anyways, because he's always up coaching and teaching. Not my fault you see the two minutes a game he sits down. Just because he isn't a raging lunatic doesn't mean he isn't showing passion. As someone who has sit close enough to where you can hear him on the bench, he's always in to the game.

Ha ha. Whatever. You started a stupid thread that makes no sense. Martin is finally appearing to have a pulse during the game. Maybe that's the difference in losing at home to AP and finally winning a road game. Players tend to take on the personality of their coach. It's nice to see some fire in Martin's belly for a change.
