They might allow a little more contact without calling a foul, but there is absolutely no way that their style of play is more physical than the average NBA team. The NBA playoffs make the Euroleague look like Flag football compared to the NFL.

I really don't think Forbes was speaking of you. And the gumshoes in the NCAA are akin to the Keystone Kops.

I've come to the realization that success in basketball just dials in the microscope. And the NCAA loves their favorite tattle tell, right?

I don't care one way or the other. However, I would like to see Griff ask Forbes "Isn't someone supposed to be monitoring contact with recruits?" I mean, Forbes being so concerned about oversight and all.

Your presence in this thread shows you care. And your point about Griff tossing softballs to Forbes is justified. There's just nothing to these allegations. I've seen this so many times. Every newly successful program will be investigated. Kiffin did not help. If there are infractions they're minor.

This is the only place in the world where you can talk abour UT basketball daily. I see hatvol96's point that I dont want UT to be known as the snake program. But I like to win too.

The hatred for pearl by ncaa basketball coaches is just the same the other way around Pearl hates those coaches who hate him. He probably despises them. The good thing about Pearl is that he lets his players do the talking.

Just his vibe in general... I can't think of the word I really want to use, but his attitude and the way he was talking to people.

One of those times I listened in on him talking to Griff in Lawrence after we lost to Kansas, can't recall what all was said, tho...
