Forbes is calling you out, Hatvol

I agree. Looks to me like he's calling it as he sees it and is sticking up for one of his kids. I guess the truth is hurting the feelings a few a little bit.

Classless (as it was termed above) is anonymously ripping on a team, coach and players of a team you supposedly support.

Individual A - sticks up for his kids and actually uses his real name.
Individual B - Anonymously plays tough guy on the internet.

I know which one I think is classless.

well said.

Isn't it great how you can't swing a cat by the tail and not hit some whodafukisthat poster with less than 100 posts that hates on Hat? Geeze dude blow him and get it over with you tease worse than any woman I know.

Ahh, the number of posts logic. Less posts=Less credibility. More posts=credibility. Maybe: Less=Career,Job,Life. More=Lonely Guy

And that post had to have been written by Hat who didn't have a child. And has never had a child that had their HEART BROKEN and come home upset. And had to deal with that child when he is upset. And kick a person when he's down! Here's all that kid did. He goes to class. He's respectful to the media. He's respectful to the PUBLIC. And he's a good kid, and he's not a professional athlete, and he doesn't deserve to be kicked when he's down. If he has a child someday, he'll understand how it feels.
But he obviously don't have a child. If your child goes down the street, and someone makes fun of him because he dropped a pass in a pickup game, or SAYS HE'S FAT, and he comes home crying to his mom, you'd understand. But you haven't had that. But someday you will. And when your child comes home, you'll understand.

Wait...Melvin Goins has a fat child?

Having three (now adult) children I see the point. I also don't think parents should tell their children they are the best athlete, etc in the world and at the end of their high school career wonder why they didn't get a scholarship and become disheartened.
I think there has been a lot more knocking on here by other posters worse than what HV is alleged to have done. Example Crompton. I also don't think HV was knocking on the kid so much as to calling out the coaches and their claim to the recruiting class. Like anything though, you can read into it and interpret it your way.

True, I also think it would be even more hysterical if Forbes paid for a Volquest account to keep up with what was said about him and the players. You would think someone would have told him about a comment or two from the site in question. Then, he checked it out on some off time. But who knows, he is probably sitting at home eating his wheaties and scrolling through this thread as we speak...

Forbes strikes me as a Fruity Pebbles kind of guy.

Amazed that so many swung and missed so drastically at WM's post.

I like how people ignore the function of time, as in "posts over time." People who have been around longer tend to have a better idea of who they've been communicating with over the years.

Wow, coaches getting upset over message board material.

That's just so...pathetic. Quit reading message boards and stay on the task at hand.

Exactly. Does Forbes not have enough on his plate right now to not be "trolling" the boards attacking one of us for having a position.

If it was Hat, which I dont think it was, then good for him. At least we are getting their attention.

And Hat, the interview was done at the buffett at Stefano's, he didnt even make it back to the table...:)

True enough. New folks to the board do get reminded of their place pretty quick here though. Some sort of right of passage or something.

These are the threads I love catching on a lazy day where I can follow it constantly. I never expected this awesome of a thread before the season even started though.

I really like how Forbes is acting like he's found some hidden gem in Goins when he played well about the last 4 or 5 games of the year and that was basically it.

If the staff hadn't of missed on M. Johnson, D. West and managed Ramar better, Goins wouldn't be here.

I hope McRae, Tobias and Golden are as good as advertised.
