I don't know this but I think we have the portal staff calling every high level player that goes in the portal to see if they want to talk or visit. If they say no, likely don't continue to chase.

I think we have at least tried to contact each of the Bama players BUT, almost everyone of them know where they are going before hitting the portal.

We have the money and the room to chas anyone if they have it interest.

There aren’t very many top 200 transfer portal players (as defined by the rankings) in the transfer portal any longer. And, the spring portal will be smaller.

So, bad timing for Alabama’s coaching search.

How much room?

Well with two they got today gotta have one player leave by June. The post you quoted is about a week or more old.

Unless they know of five players or so that will leave after spring I think they are finished with portal until spring.
