It is a hostage scenario plus this might be unconstitutional. These people will stop at nothing to get elected. If they are able to keep the congress because the handout is too much for people to pass up they will destroy what little they haven't destroyed yet with two years remaining in Biden's term. It might be too little to reverse the damage to the republic.
